Does this really indicate that she's in better shape than last year? Didn't she run sub 4:00 last year . . . or roughly equivalent to 4:18?

Because Levins ran a 3:54 mile 30 minutes earlier...

Galen Rupp has been a better runner than Cam Levins for his whole career. Levins had a very good 2014 and is clearly in great shape, but Rupp is always in shape indoors. A tired Levins shouldn't be beating a fresh Rupp.

I'm not going to freak out about this performance, but this did not resemble the Rupp I'm used to seeing indoors.

Sucks for Rupp. No wonder he called off the WR attempt. At least it'll make for some interesting speculation for his next race.
