Step Brothers. It took me a long time to forgive Will Ferrell for that one.
Didn't see most of the movie. Bummer. Will Farrell is such a talented, funny guy.
Weird, for the past 3 days I've seen Will Farrell look alikes. One looked like him from the back, one from the front, and this morning I saw his twin from the side. The weirdest one was his dad's look alike came in! I nearly crapped my skirt. But I noticed he was too short to be the real deal and felt relieved.
Walked out on Adam sandler's anger management.
Funny, I also thought the first scene of Lincoln was tacky BS to the extreme -- however, I stayed for the full movie. I have no idea why they didn't just do a made-for-TV movie on PBS or something -- did NOT feel like a complete movie.
Indian in the Cupboard -- now there's shite for ya
the last air bender. im pretty sure they signed retards to act in it in order to save money

I mildly enjoyed the Big Lebowski, but I don't really get why SO many people are obsessed with it.
For me the only walk-out was "What the Bleep do we know". I don't know what I expected, but it was so much new-age bullsh*t I couldn't take it after a while.
I went to one of the Star Wars movies a few years ago, maybe around 2005 and walked out after about 45 minutes. One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Dreadful.
I've never walked out of a movie. But in the last 15 years I rarely go the movies. And in the past, I almost never went in order to just to do something. I had to at least have some pretty good interest in seeing the movie. I don't know how so many of you people see so many movies without walking out of plenty of them (so much crap).
But one of the closer times I felt like walking out was the beginning of Pulp Fiction, and I noticed many on this thread said they walked out on it (I think it is the leader on the thread). I like Tarrantino generally, I liked Reservoir Dogs, I liked most of his Nazi movie quite a bit (Inglorious Basterds, though Brad Pitt and the Jewish revenge fantasy stuff was rather dumb) and in later viewings, I did appreciate Pulp Fiction on some levels. But the opening scene of PF where the guy and and especially the girl start screaming at the top of their lungs that:
"Any of you fuc-ing pricks move, and I'll execute every motherfuc-in' last one of you!"
in such an unrealistic, cheesy way just made me want out. I thought she was a terrible actress in that scene. Usually tarrantino dialogue is gold, but the whole scene just made me annoyed as hell.

I guess it was supposed to be funny, but it wasn't to me. I almost walked.
Another up for wanting to walk out of Lincoln. I expected a lot more action. The whole movie was just a bunch of politicians talking. I've seen more exciting things happen in the Republican primaries, for sure. The movie dragged on and on. I checked my watch every 5 minutes after the first scene. It just wasn't interesting.
However, my father (who is a history teacher,) LOVED the movie. He said he wished it had gone longer than it did. I would have walked out if it had been 5 minutes longer.
Huge disappointment for me.

Rocky Horror...guess I wasn't gay enough.
This is my winner. The first time (1980 I think) I walked out with gf. Since then I tried at least 3 times to sit through it and never got past the first 45mins or so. Kept trying cos I felt there's something I'm missing - all these idiots rave over it. Nope. Garbage.
Never walked out in theaters, but when I rented the 2nd version of Casino Royale (the 1967 one) about 10 years ago, I thought it was so stupid that I took it back to the video store after watching about 20 minutes of the film.
I went to see White Chicks on a bet. I lost that bet.
sex and the city. tried to go with girlfriend, started sweating and getting anxious a half hour in, was stuck in the middle of a row with teenage girls on both sides laughing and squealing, ended up shouting "excuse me, excuse me..." and running out -- panic attack, broke up with that girlfriend a week later. it was my mistake to agree to go, but also her fault to suggest it. hostile behavior
My sister took her 13 year old son and said she walked out of "Stepbrothers". I can watch that movie over and over on DVD or cable but I admit its a horrible movie.
The only movie I walked out on was when during the 1978 Blizzard when we were 10 years old we were off school and me and a buddy went to see "Everywhich way but Loose". When we got to the ticket counter it was sold out. My mom left us there for 2 hours so we had to find a movie to see. We sat through about 20 minutes of a Neil Simon comedy "California Suite." It was all talk and the humor was a bit over our heads so we walked out and played Space Invaders and waited to get picked up.
One horrible movie I wanted to walk out on was "Karate Kid 3". I endured it because I went because a co-worker at Big Boy where I was working asked me out and I was planning on sitting through that movie with her then after telling her I just wanted to be "friends". That was the worst movie I ever sat through other than kids movies I toughed it out. Some "Spy-Kids" 3d movie and "Hop" come to mind. But I didn't have the option to walk out I was just there for the little kids.
When I choose on my own to see a movie I know pretty much through a little research what to expect going in and stick it out.
A funny story is about when Woody Hayes was coaching Ohio State with his greatest team in the late 1960's. He had a policy of taking the team to a movie every night before a game. Usually he picked the movie but one time assigned that to an assistant coach who picked "Easy Rider". I don't know if Woody sat through the entire movie but I laugh at the image of Woody Hayes the night before a game watching "Easy Rider" during the LSD tripping scene in the cemetary in New Orleans.
I don't think he fired that assistant coach but he was definitely told he was never allowed to choose any more movies for Buckeye movie night.
Zombieland
Wife wanted to go because she heard it was fun and campy. She didn't realize that there were all kinds of faces getting eaten off. We walked out after about 15 minutes. That was the only one.
Walked out of three:
- Pulp Fiction
- My Blue Heaven (Steve Martin flick - AWFUL).
- Big Night (or "People Making Food" as my friend who walked out with me described it).
I was this close to walking out of Independence Day, but stayed only because we had time to kill until a party we were going to started. We made fun of the movie the entire time.

I take it you don't have kids.
