A bunch of the better DIII schools are running at Bucknell this weekend. Should be lots of really fast times out of there
Right you are. I was looking for DI results there, and eventually realized there were a lot of solid DII/DIII performances:

I like how MacPherson took off his singlet after like two laps at the 3k at Fitchburg and threw it at his coach as he walked off the track. Then he took his 800 meter hip number, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it. Hilarious.
Look for Mike Heymann of SUNY P to qualify in the 10k, have a great Nats double, and assert himself as the stud of the future.
Also, can anyone tell me why Craig MacPherson thinks he's God's gift to d3?
God put him here to show us how to race tough. According to him he is the toughest kid to ever run.
Michael Hildner will shock the world by qualifying in the 10k.
What happened with Mac this weekend? Was he actually throwing shit around?
not this weekend, april 4th apparently (didnt hear about the throwing or w/e)...but he dropped out of the steeple after about 800...just not mentally there...says he's "refreshed" after a week off basically
keene was @ ulowell this past weekend, none of their big(ger) guys ran
O'Brien went 3:53 and 1:53 this weekend. Second place in the 1500 was 3:58 and in the 800 was 1:55.
brian harvey of cmu ran 14:28 at bucknell this weekend... they also had a kid run 30:36 for 10k
he threw his singlet at pete, it landed on pete's feet, and pete laughed in his face. i took a bit of enjoyment from it
Oh boy. . . I really should take the high road here and not dignify accusations with responses, but here goes anyway:
I don't believe I'm God's gift to anything, and if I've done anything to lead people to believe otherwise, I would expect them to be mature about it instead of talking anonymously on a message board.
Yes, I dropped out of the steeplechase last week after 800 meters. I was completely fried from a 12 week, 20 race season and I needed a little break. I took a grand total of three days off (the carnage! the horror!) and three days of easy jogging (I know, I know, what unrestrained arrogance!) and I'm back to normal now.
Yes, last week, when I dropped out, I was so disgusted with myself and running in general that I threw my uniform at Pete and said "f*** this, I need time off." After I walked it off and thought about it, I walked back over to Pete and apologized for the outburst and explained that I wasn't angry at him- just at the whole situation. Not that it's anyone's business, but yes- I'm 19 years old and I lost my temper, and within 20 minutes I had apologized for it.
If being imperfect means I'm arrogant and taking a grand total of THREE days off means I'm "god's gift to Diii" then I suppose I am in fact guilty. However, at least I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong and apologizing to the people I've wronged. Also, I don't take pleasure in other people's misfortunes, so I've got that going for me.
Did anyone mention Leiter and Hardbarger yet? They went3:48 and 3:50, respectively, this weekend.
Chaffee ran 14:42 as well

wait, wait, wait... how many days did you take off again?
Mack ran 14:42? That's awesome! I wonder if he'll run it again and go for a double at nationals.
To wait a second- I don't want to drag this thread down with petty immaturity, but I'd be glad to answer any questions you or anyone else has for me via email or through my blog.
This was a huge weekend for D3 times! If only I hadn't been home, arrogantly eating Easter dinner with my family or pompously visiting with friends from home!
