i need some helpful advice and this seems like the thread to do it, and I do not want to make my own.
i was a terrible heel striker... whatever shoes i wore, nike zoom milers, new balance 903, spikes, training shoes, whatever.
then i injured my ankle in a non running accident and I was out for the season.
when I came back, (the beginning of summer) I went right into minimalism, training in Nike Katana Rac3r IIIs. Aside from sore calves the first few weeks, I had no problems.
I ran for 4 months with absolutely NO problems. it was the best training i have ever done. but then i went to the doctor and i have a stress fracture in my the top of my femur.
is this related to minimalism you think? did i jump in too soon? i do all of my running on the concrete and the big question
do you think i should go back to minimalsim when i get back?
lot of people are telling me to go to training sheos but i want to get even more minimal, and use puma h streets.
