I took my kid to the pediatrician today. I was thinking about this thread and imagining the look of horror on her face if I said I take my child to McDonald's "almost daily" when she asked about diet.

with a tasty beverage to wash it down.
NUGGETS
When I'm on the road and have to leave early McDonald's is a good option for breakfast. If you have to be out early, say 5am your options are limited. McDonald's breakfast has options which are decent and you know what you're getting. Is it great, no. But for early morning it's something safe and easy.
i love nuggets
Double QPC and a large Diet Coke.
Fast food places have gotten much worse since COVID. I got a MacD's quarter pounder with cheese recently and it was pretty bad. The bun was squished flat, it had one chunk of something that might have been the stalk end of a piece of lettuce, and the hamburger itself was tasteless.
The only place I've gotten a decent fast food burger recently was Hugh Baby's.

You’re advertising your own place. 😝

In CA two Sausage McMuffins with Egg are 6 bucks, and you can add a large Ice Coffee for a $1.99. Not bad considering everything else at all fast food joints is through the roof here since employees get $20/hr because a certain group of people turned fast food into a career and are easily led by union leadrs who all consider themselves “el jefe”.
Anyway, it’s about 8 dollars for an OK breakast of two eggs, two sausage patties, two slices of cheese, two muffins. I have it twice a week before work. In before food snobs start screeching.
$5 McDouble meal, medium Diet Coke. I have the app too so I usually get a free medium fry. It's actually a good deal.

You never have to eat at McDonalds, and I never do.
only breakfast. Sausage Egg McMuffin, hash browns, and McCafe Latte. It's not bad.

Transfat in the bread, and in hashbrowns (monoglycerides of soybeanoil). Clogged arteries not bad ? Yes they clog even if your skinny
According to a health insider the quarter pounder is the best quality meat on their menu. So get a quarter pounder, no cheese, no sauce, extra lettuce and tomato.
I order their double quarter pounder meat sandwich product, as it is larger than their misleadingly-advertised "Big Mac" product. The DQP is made from food-like materials that contain nutritional value, that's for sure! And don't forget a side of sodium sticks!
But really, if I'm getting fast food, it's gonna be a Dave's Double from Wendy's.
The KPop Demon Hunters meal. Because I hate demons.
