Given Klotz or Acosta does not red-shirt. I would honestly redshirt AJ and run Kenny. Vin will probably not have AJ run until regionals or Pac-10's even if he thought about running him this season. I remember Ian Dobson's freshman year he didn't run him until the regional race. I also remember Ian not being real happy by running two races, using his season, and getting 70th at nationals. Whatever happens will be interesting, I think Vin will have some good problems trying to decide who to run. They are a team that should be in the top ten at nationals.
I strongly agree with that.
How the Ducks do this year is so speculative its ridiculous.
While they might have some of the best talent out there, the unethical alliance with Nike/Salazar and some pretty poor traning judgement might be their undoing.
Keep your fingers crossed, but dont hold your breath.
Go Ducks!
Its unbelievable that these Saratoga people cant let go, Blood not making varsity, you must be a complete imbecile or one angry person thats still pissed at her and probably the rest of the world for that matter.......you want to be angry at someone, do so towards your mother. shes to blame for the way you look.

I had to go back several pages to find the post you were referring to. Yikes man let it go. Not trashing your daughter NB or anything and I think she'll probably get into the top 7 but Wetsch, and Buchanan had huge track seasons. Bekah Noble did too but I'm not sure the 800 will carry as well over to a 6K with hills. Keara Sammons took her 3200 PR down to 10:20 so I could see those 3 at the front. Katie Leary should be with them if she's healthy and back into things. Your daughter probably fits in between that group and the Pearson-Nelson duo. Probably top 5 but maybe only top 6 if Noble has a breakout season.
I guess that anytime someone doesn't recognize your daughter as the next superstar you think they are jealous of her. I'm sure there are many young women who are jealous of her PRs. However, as a coach I'm not. I have no ill will towards your daughter leaving her team in fact had she continued with Saratoga the team I coach might not have broken the top 4 at NTN which we were pleased to do.
How many x's can you say "YOUR DAUGHTER" in one post.... it's late and maybe you should read yours a bedtime story......Go to bed Art and give Linda a KISS FROM ME!
A very young team and they're loaded with talent!! It will be interesting to see how they progress over the next 4 years.
Nice post. Someone hit a nerve?
Hopefully you are joking by insinuating that you are a high school coach of a talented team. With the unprofessional nature of your attack, I'm sure many would agree that you should not be influencing our young high school athletes at all, let alone the ones with such promising futures.

Hit a nerve? I would guess Wow hit one for you with their post. Why is it unprofessional to suggest that Nicole Blood or anyone will be mid-varsity pack. The poster is entitled to their opinion and its not so far fetched to believe that Wetsch who has a faster 2mile PR than Blood and beat her at Footlocker could be running faster than her next year. Sammons also beat her at Footlocker and has a season best in the 2mile about 20 seconds faster than Blood but I'd consider that less of a sure thing. I hope you don't consider my post unprofessional. I don't believe it's pure heresy to suggest Blood is not Oregon's best female distance recruit. If I was a betting man I'd wager Wetsch will finish ahead at their final race of the season. I'm not though so I'll put it out there and we'll see who is right come November.
I'm calling BS on Wow!. First of all, explain please from a mathematical perspective how Blood running would have cost another team in the top 4 a spot or more. 'Toga finished 2nd. It makes no sense. Second, I know you don't coach Hilton or SLC; they have WAY too much class for such a post and both know their team earned their top 4 spot. I don't know Naperville but cannot believe their coach is this stupid. The only alternative is that you coach 'Toga and think if Blood had stayed on the team somehow they would have run worse. Perhaps you confused NTN with your league meet which I could believe, if there were less than six teams, you might have coached a fourth place team.

Mr. Hummm, did I suggest that it's "unprofessional" to think that Nicole Blood (or anyone else) could be mid-pack on this incredibly talented young team? Now, that wouldn't make much sense, would it? But I guess if that's your interpretation of the post, I can spell it out better for you. What I considered to be "unprofessional" is the fact that "Wow!!", who has suggested that he is a coach/mentor of a talented high school team, is on here making foolish innuendos towards "NB" & family. It's absurb and if this is coming from a high school coach, it is not only unprofessional, but a dishonor as well. You lost all credibility.
"Wow!!", I agree with Poseur, I think he/she hit the nail right on the head. My guess is that you most likely are closely related with the Saratoga Program and you just can't seem to let go of the anger. Go back to the high school topics.
lets get back to the topic on hand, how BAD ASS keith laverty is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Oregon girls are going to rock.
Nicole Blood will win on Friday
Now the question is will she win anything else all season?
Sure..... wrote:

I suppose if she had to follow the Saratoga training techniques, that may bet the case, as it's no secret there are peaking issues there. I'm sure the Oregon coaching staff will train her in the proper way so that she can peak at the end of the season, as oppposed to the beginning.
Good luck to the Oregon team. I think they will do well this year.
Why isn'y Keith Laverty getting the respect and love he deserves?
keith laverty is a G

We'll see if this is the same line-up used for regionals and nationals.

Apparently not quite as much as the anti-Oregon sociopaths, isn't that right HN?
The topic author is obviously a fan of the sport and is acting accordingly. In comparision, you simply come across as yet another message board troll.
