I got out of NCAA coaching 4 years ago and I miss it a lot but not enough to go back at least not anytime soon.
I worked my way up to D1 mid major head coach decent salary but it was a lot of mess.
after I left I tried teaching for a year didn’t like it one bit. Started working at UPS and became a driver and never looked back.
2 years now as a driver my insurance is free, I get paid time off, etc benefits are good basically. My pay is very good and can work overtime if I want or don’t want. I’m well over 6 figures and putting away a lot of money so gonna grind this out for 10-15 years then get out of it with a nice pension and then I’ll think about getting back into college coaching or maybe coaching post collegiates
