Parker just shared on her Instagram story that she won't be contesting USAs as she is still coming back from her foot injury (although she is back running now).

I know this sounds bad - I honestly don't think Valby is a doper, but I do think she is fully capable of not updating her whereabouts, etc and failing to show for 3 drug tests. Basically, having no excuse but I forgot to update it.
At one point at least, her back kick was significantly lower on one side than the other (heel not coming as near the butt).
Her symptoms (nerve pain, back pain, multiple injuries in ankle/foot, imbalanced back kick) seem to indicate a hip impingement, as in, her hip bones are slightly out of alignment on one side.
Look at her shoulders when she is running.
Her right shoulder is lower, suggesting her right leg is shorter. This is a disadvantage when running track.
Many of the best track runners have a shorter left leg which is a slight advantage when running anti clockwise round the curves.
Drew Hunter is another runner with the same problem as Parker.
Valby has raced a grand total of once as a pro. I can't imagine New Balance is too happy with their investment. They will probably give her another year since she dominated in the NCAA. Whether silent ban, injury, or whatever, its just bizarre to go completely radio silent and not even promote her sponsor. 6 weeks ago she posted that she had a foot injury, had been cross training, and expected to be racing again soon. At this point she should be thinking about some fall road racing.
I agree they are probably feeling like they got completely hosed. It would be one thing if she was actively using her social media following to promote NB, going to events, etc., but she's not. They paid her all that money and for what? So she could buy a McMansion in Gainesville and post bikini thirst traps from the beach?
I agree New Balance is not getting their moneys worth. But how did they not know they were investing in someone who had a long history of injury, and that the biggest predictor of an injury is a previous injury. They took a chance, and right now does not appear to be working out. I don't see this any different from the major league baseball team that throws millions at a player who had one good year, and then they wonder why they regress back to the mean.

I was hoping New Balance was going to address it with their high-tech ‘biomechanical lab’; I wonder how much Coogan was even aware.

Even when not under fatigue, at pace, she looks like she's on the ARC trainer. There is definitely something biomechanically off about her running, but whether it's due to the ARC volume or physiology I am not sure.
How could she have gotten so horribly injured when she cross trains the bulk of her mileage? You'd figure with her injury history that she and her coaches would be overly cautious as to not let a small injury turn into something like this.

Can you share a break down of her training?
His post is just incendiary nonsense to stoke the flames. Coogan’s Instagram posts (prior to New Balance Indoors) indicated she was doing hard road work, probably more than she had previously done in years. Granted, to the rest of the New Balance Team, it was likely just normal stuff.
