It’s a win for child abusers because it shows that it is a hard charge to get verdicts against in court.
Abusers are convicted all the time. Gjert is not an abuser.
It’s a win for the wrongfully accused because it shows not everyone can make up false allegations about someone and get away with it.
Free Man Not Guilty: “I wasn’t abusing my kids, I was teaching them obedience. My ex exaggerated for the judge and he agreed with her. She also brainwashed my kids when she told them people who hit them can’t be trusted. Now she gets a third of my paycheck every month. I’m the real victim here!”
Money. Things were fine until Jakob won the Olympics and got a windfall of money and elevation of status. When he got that money and elevated status, his ego got inflated and his mind got corrupted. That’s when he fired Gjert.
Check the timeline of events.
Proof? And even if that were true, that still is Gjert's fault for raising such egotistical children. It is a reflection of himself.

Gjert raised his children to be champions. He erred by not preparing them to be humble champions. I never said he was perfect. Nobody is perfect. He did his best. He loves his children.

Like others before you, your feeble ad hominem attacks on my character only reveal you have nothing better to say because you know I’m right.
Ironically, you and your buddies are the only ones who have displayed aggressive abusive behavior in this discussion. I support a wrongfully accused father, and I get attacked for it. Toxic place.
Gjert Ingebrigtsen, father of Olympic gold medalist Jakob Ingebrigtsen, was convicted of assaulting his daughter, but acquitted on accusations of abuse toward his son following a months-long trial.

The proof I see is that he was convicted of an incident with his daughter. The rest of your post in nonsense drivel. Please stop posting before you continue embarrassing yourself.
Jakob wins Olympic race with Gjert as his coach in August 2021.
Ingrid moves out of the parental home after the towel incident in January 2022.
Jakob announces his father has medical issues and isn’t coaching him anymore in February 2022. But Gjert continues coaching Narve.
Gjert is denied a coaching accreditation to be with Narve at the Bislett Games in Oslo in June 2023 because of Jakob.
Narve wins a world championship medal one place behind Jakob with Gjert as his coach in August 2023. Gjert was denied a coaching accreditation to be with Narve because of Jakob.
Narve discloses that Henrik had bullied him at a Norwegian team camp earlier in the year in September 2023.
Jakob, Henrik and Filip publicly accuse Gjert of abusing them in October 2023.
Ingrid had been out of the house for nearly 2 years when the brothers made their allegations. It wasn’t about protecting her. It was a response to the criticism they were getting because of their actions against Gjert and Narve.
Maybe it's because I'm American and did not follow the IG's show very closely, but from afar, I find the whole ordeal just really sad, irrespective of guilt or innocence. You have a family that should be flying high on their successes and accomplishments--the rarified air of them--but instead is broken apart from...well, I suppose it depends who you ask. Nonetheless, I find no victory for anyone involved in this story--it's just a damn shame.

Yeah so the towel incident convinced him to leave. And you claimed it was money/inflated ego.
We don’t know when Jakob fired Gjert. We only know when the announcement was made.
If Gjert was such a monster the brothers needed to protect their sister from, why did it take them almost 2 years after the towel incident and Ingrid moving out of the house to make their allegations? What was their motivation for going public when they did?
Dumb. This is the definition of 21st Century parenting...
In case you don't watch the news, the world is a place governed by the aggressive use of force at all levels. Abuse happens when you abuse the responsibility it carries.
"The world is full of bad people who use coercive force to accomplish their goals, therefore... you must beat your children to ensure there are more of them."
Pretty minor. Seems a bit absurd this is all because of someone hitting their kid with a towel. Seems like once Jakob got his gold he wanted to keep all the dough for himself so tried to cut Gjert out as fast as he could. I don't blame him, the cars in his garage are expensive!
Get smacked occasionally when you get out of line as a child and turn into an Olympic champion and world record holder and everything that comes with it.

Right. Jakob has no natural talent, you see. His success is due entirely to the child abuse I mean discipline. That's why all the pros put lit cigarettes out on their chests before every race. Better than EPO.

It was only a matter of time before the “he wouldn’t be Olympic champion if his dad didn’t physically abuse him” crowd showed up.
They had abuse of the champ runner on the ticket in case the ruling didn't work out over the abuse of the young lady. It's an extra measure to make sure Gjert pays for hurting her
