I’m sure he didn’t know about it. No school official would approve of that sort of thing from liability purposes. Although, it’s good to see the sad sack Ole football team run any distance.

Yes, it’s true! They actually are 2nd cousins once removed. Ignatius actually visits stewartville for the holidays most years. This should be common MIAC knowledge, so I’m glad I could help.

The Icecoldxc IG has posted close to 100 college commitments of Minnesota athletes. You can see a few MIAC commits. Carl women have some big pickups.
Found this shoutout and wanted to post what I had for commitments in the MIAC:
More/better women here than men, but Olaf getting Myers was a good pull. There are many more MN seniors I don't have but wanted to share my current list.
Would be great if you could follow IceColdXC on Instagram for all things MN High School XC!
Could this be a shift in power for the MIAC women? This certainly puts Carleton back on top, but seeing some very talented female athletes go to non Northfield schools bodes well for some competitive parity.
I saw the Gustavus coaching staff everywhere this Spring. They are really trying to build something there.
Hamline staff change?
Brodie, share the details!

Great to see, but based off last Fall the rest of the MIAC has a long way to go to catch the Northfield schools. Carleton brought in their best class ever and Erica tends to develop kids nobody expects to be good.
I really like the Gusties class but I think they are a year or two away. What does Mac’s class look like? Any word on Bethel?
Isaiah is this you 😂 ?

Did Power start this rumor to stop the talk of his daily trundle through the Arb?
Can someone explain the Ole 800 training group to me? How is John Ihrke so much faster in year one of racing than all their 800m guys? Or Indy Lyness and St. Peter for that matter?
Faster in XC that is. I'm curious why the Ole 800 runners aren't better in XC than they are. Is it just the change from Phil's training? What do Dan & Maxwell do that Power hasn't figured out?
Looks like the Maxwell coaching tree (supremacy) has extended into Iowa with Skinner bringing his expertise to Luther. They just got better.
Good for AJ. The Luther coach is a Johnny, so it will be great for him to inject some of Maxwell's more modern training into the Johnny coaching tree.
These standards are based off actual times of their athletes, so it appears it’s merely the ego of the coach and not the actual standards that lead him to turn interested athletes away.
That website is notoriously incorrect. The best way to find recruiting standards is to look at what their actual rostered athletes ran in high school.
Sounds like a skill issue

Kevin Turlington: A returning All-American, 2nd at MIAC's. Runs a 24:21.9, 30:01, and 14:11.84. If Bati doesn't return, he should be the conference favorite.
Why would Bati not return if he got 1 more year?
