i was watching on the home stretch. they had some room in those handoffs. the clock flashed 39.99 and i thought they got it for a second - can’t be too mad about 40.00. unfortunately the texans are gonna keep talking trash about us until we get that 39 though.
We must acknowledge that Servite completed that 3:12.79 with four freshman boys! Jaelen Hunter began the boys' race with a 46.89, followed by Kamil Pelovello(48.81), Jace Wells (48.04), and Jorden Wells (48.16).
Posted in the wrong thread: Great 800 boys just now. Won by a huge margin with a bit of showboating and slowing down at the end. 1:47.66 - Joseph Socares I think.
That 800m boys victory was impressive. Would love to see him race Cooper Lutkenhaus (sophomore in Texas). I think they both could break Granville's high school record.

Paige Echsner of Del Norte High School San Diego, California won the pole vault in 12 feet 11 inches (3.94m) and helped the DMR in 56.97 seconds in the 400 meters a few minutes later tonight.
