Yeah, Kipyegon is such a terrible athlete! Surely she has no medals
Finally, something interesting on LR.

Her bio doesn't mention participation in any sports in high school. I imagine it would if she played on a varsity team. It's pretty amazing that she basically went couch to BYU XC.
Maybe she played other sports that involve a lot of running like soccer or lacrosse? Maybe or maybe not on varsity, but excelled at the running part of sports

She was never a runner until she married Conner. Now she's on the BYU squad. Pretty cool story.
Because there are roster limits doesn’t mean she can’t be on the team. That’s up to the coach right? We had a men’s roster limit of 10 with XC but we had 18 guys on the “team”. I do know there are some teams that don’t want to bother with non roster athletes. What effect do the new rules have on non roster team members?
Non roster team is nonexistent. You obviously were either a d3 guy or had no idea how they tracked your athletes. You can't practice or use facilities or do anything without being on a roster. Track and cross country count separately so you can practice during off season of on one or the other. Redshirt counts as a roster spot. New limits are 17 and 45. There are no exceptions.
These types of posts are the most annoying here. Kipyegon is one of the best ever. She is a mother. Why say she is a bad athlete as a way of making yourself look smug and silly? 80% of women have children yet about 5% of the female runners who medal have a child. That means few mothers medal.
School roster limits don’t have to match NCAA roster slots. Your school can say it’s 8 or 10 or 12 while NCAA says 17. As I said, and we were D1 and I am quite aware of what the limits were. We had 10 slots but allowed more than that on the team
she is so f**king hot what the f,**k?
