I don’t think the BU surface is any faster than the Armory - it is brand new (was just relaid with the newest Mondo)
Yeah sorry pal, you're wrong about that.
Stitch..I don't know, hate to be contrary, but my self and s couple of Armory old time regulars, think that surface was wicked wicked fast. You got effectively 4 plus WRs when you add in Hocker and Kessler and an AR in 800..just a thought.

I've ran on both tracks. As mentioned, what makes BU so fast is the plywood and the curve radius. However the surface is nothing special, it's not even Mondo. Armory now has the fastest surface possible and they also fine tuned a couple other things during the renovations. BU is probably still a little bit faster, but I don't think you're getting a full second in a mile difference, so Yared will have to find a little more improvement elsewhere.
It is about 25 min. behind. Women's 500 was scheduled to start at 3:15 and will likely start at 3:40.
Yeah thats not good news for this record tilt. Hopefully he adjusted his warmup accordingly because you can waste a ton of energy standing around "shaking out" - especially if it's as much as 30min OT.
But as someone mentioned, if you want to front up at a college meet in amongst a million races and try and run a WR in the mile, I guess you accept the risk.
