Just take their land and make them a territory of the US.
Because Trumpers are morons and ruin everything they touch. Naturally, Canada has not devolved into a dumpster fire because of Trumpers and can still recognize this.
You mean like all those blue cities in America with thousands of homeless people $hitting in the streets and shooting up. Yeah, Trumpers really screwed that up.

Maybe it was a mistake to have Fidel Castros son as their leader:
“A longer historical perspective reveals a striking reality: the gap between the Canadian and American economies has now reached its widest point in nearly a century,” he continues. “The U.S. is on track to produce nearly 50 percent more per person than Canada
Because 159 Canadians died helping us in Afghanistan after we were attacked, and even joking about attacking them is the sh*ttiest way possible to respond to that.
Because Canada is a large country, and most Canadians want f*ck-all to do with Trump, and the violence would last years and a lot of people would die.
Because only morons who get their idea of history from playing video games have such limited comprehension of what national sovereignty means.
What are we Russia? Trump wants Gaza so he can develop it. He won't let Palestinians come back. He wants to take over Greenland, Canada and the Panama Canal - We're no better than putin stealing ukraine - is trump going to allow china to take over taiwan also.
Back to the original question: why is there a problem with annexing Canada? It's basically the same as asking: why is there a problem with shoplifting? There are two basic answers:
(1) Because it's wrong.
(2) Because you might get punished for it.
Humans have been arguing for millennia about which is the "real" reason most of us obey rules and laws. Up until recently, the trend was in favor of the first answer. But over the past decade the argument in favor of the second answer has begun to look a lot more compelling. In that view, the only reason not to do bad things to others is the fear that they might do worse things to you. So if you're confident you can get away with it, you go ahead and shoplift or invade other countries or whatever.
Personally, I still subscribe to the first answer, and find the increasing prevalence of people like the OP to be literally the saddest thing (not sad as in pathetic, but sad as in depressing) I've encountered in my life.
GOP plays the opposite as Vance is the chosen one. When someone let you choose between being stabbed by knife or shot by guns, that’s a democratic murder, so you should gladly accept and cheer for it.
Stop daydreaming. Nobody gives a sht about regular folks, and you don’t have a choice either way.
Trump is an actual president who whether you like him or not is running things. Biden’s entire presidency was a fraud. It was essentially an actor sitting in his trailer all day and occasionally coming out to the set to read a few lines.
What are we Russia? Trump wants Gaza so he can develop it. He won't let Palestinians come back. He wants to take over Greenland, Canada and the Panama Canal - We're no better than putin stealing ukraine - is trump going to allow china to take over taiwan also.
yes exactly. Trump thought Putin was very smart. yes, China can have taiwan. Trump gets the most with canada and greenland
Just take their land and make them a territory of the US.
It’s not a good idea. But if we did, realistically, would any country in the world fight us militarily? Or would they just condemn/sanction us?
Since you don't read much, I'll lay it out for you.
Canada is an independent country. Their military would fight.
Canada is a member of NATO, a military alliance for common defense. Right now the rest of NATO likes Canada a hell of a lot more than they like the U.S., especially with Trump threatening Denmark and Musk rooting for the German Nazi party. Many NATO countries would support Canada.
Canada is also a member of the British Commonwealth and recognizes the British sovereign as its head of state. Flip a coin about the UK's reaction.
And since you don't get out much, let me spell it out for you. There are hundreds of thousands of U.S. military personnel and civilians currently enjoying life in NATO countries. At the outbreak of hostilities, they all become prisoners of war and the American bases get blockaded, an ocean away, with no opportunity for resupply. We lose our ability to project military power in half the world. Instantaneously. Forever. Those U.S. soldiers won't be released until the U.S. leaves Canada and pays reparations.
A more interesting question is what percentage of American soldiers would refuse an illegal order to attack a peaceful ally. We're more likely to wreck the U.S. military than the Canadian military by trying to attack Canada.
Trump has said a bunch of idiotic nonsense and he'll say a lot more because he's an ignorant fool with a decaying mind. The only sane reaction isn't "What an interesting idea, Mr. President," but "F8ck no, not a chance in h8ll we're doing that."
