    Head-to-head, Leo I believe has historically beaten Lex more often than not. For now at Stanford, Leo is the 1500/5000 guy while Lex is in the 5000/10000 range.

    So, a bit surprising Lex made this race so close.

    You are living in an illusionary world. Coaches basically just go for the fastest guys and try to set up a marriage between the fast kid and their school. What do you do if your favorite target picks a different school? You just move on to the next guy.

    Graham Blanks chose Harvard for academics, and all the other things that Harvard is. It was not that the coach carefully picked him out due to his stride and his mileage.

    Worked out for him; ncaa champ and he has already started an investment fund.

    Why are you blaming the Stanford training? Perhaps they were overcooked in high school.
