I think this was a great experience for him and he performed about as well as you would expect for the situation. Also, kudos to the other members of the Relay who supported him.
He will be back in other major championship meets and perform superbly well.
Agree with the sentiment in general , but Quincy did not perform anywhere near as well as you would expect. I know he’s a 16 yr old kid, but he’s a kid that took 6th place at the trials and ran a 44.20 PR a month ago. A 47.2 lead off is way way below his ability. So something is not right with him & hopefully it’s not too serious. I also really hope this doesn’t damage his confidence much.
