This is so tiresome. You people need to move on. When she smoked pot, she ran 10.88. She just ran a world leading time of 10.71 and it would have been faster by another .02s at least, if she didn't celebrate before the tape. You can't smoke that disgusting shyt and run at peak performance. Had she smoked again, it would have been another 10.8. The young lady is trying to turn her life around. Why can't you mofos do the same.

This thread is disappointing, even for LRC standards. If you can't get behind our best female sprinter and can't see that she's a star idk what to tell you. She shouldn't elicit such sharp reactions from some of ya'll. You shouldn't be triggered because she's popular. Some of these comments are just plain hateful. Nobody deserves that.
This is problematic language. Being at Hayward for the past trials, Worlds, and last night, the increase in support is noticeable. Why is a good question. She’s American and she’s fast and with the main Jamaican competition aging out, she will dominate for years to come. One thing Americans are is front runners, they live a winner. I do not like her based on her pathetic angry at the world attitude. I have not liked or believed her Jerry Springer antics. She had settled down recently and most can label it maturing, however, being allowed to avoid the mix zone does show her capriciousness and the capitulation by USATF to its volatile stars. All being said, when she slammed the wig before the finals at the last Worlds at Hayward was one of the most bonkers moments I have ever witnessed live, and I thank her for that.
She’s not doing the mixed zone because of the Netflix show. They’re filming season 2 now she can only do interviews with the main broadcasters. That’s what happened in Budapest too. Netflix wants all the footage.
