Unfortunately in this world not everyone likes each other
This is what blows my mind. You don't have to like the people you train with. Isn't it their job to train? Sometimes you don't like your coworkers. Oh well. You put your emotions aside, do your job and go about your day.
I believe in that group, specifically, it's a bit more involved with who they let on the team. Since it is primarily ran by Joe and Emma, I'm sure team chemistry is important, especially with having training camps up in Crested Butte at their parent’s house and facilities. While I do think it's odd for Elise to leave abruptly, it honestly could just be that the training was not what she envisioned it to be and wanted more freedom with training partners. Coming over from a different training system can be challenging. There’s going to be questions for the new coach on how and why they train and sometimes, the athlete has a different idea from the coach and just goes a different direction.

But none of this would have been vetted ahead of time? Did she not ask about the training? Or was she led to believe one thing in advance, but then realty didn't match what she had been sold?
Yeah, it seems hard to believe that a pro in an Olympic year would join a training group without knowing very specifically what they do training-wise and whether it suits them or not. The negative consequences are huge. To me, this points to personality conflicts within the group as the reason for Cranny's departure. Personality conflicts are not a trivial thing in an all womens group. I mean, Coburn left Simpson's group because of a personality conflict.
well, probably referring to the same person as femme here, but TeamB****s sounds like an infamous Boulder based blogger/gadfly male 2:24 marathoner (long time ago) who writes very long-winded blog posts and pretty much hates on everything.
I can't say, having not met either, but have crossed paths with them on occasion, and at least one of the two didn't come across as being particularly friendly. But you can't really judge a person on a flyby. I like to give most people the benefit of the doubt.

Nah, Kevin is wayyyy farther gone than this person, sadly.
