Millrose Mens 2 Mile Field!!!

What’s everyone’s predictions for where the Coffee Club guys will finish in the race?

and Ky Robinson?

How in the world did a college guy get into this race . . . especially a collegian whose first name isn't Graham?

Regardless, good for Ky . . . he's already competed in a World T&F Championships, a World XC Championships, a Commonwealth Games, a Diamond League race where the winner ran 12:40 . . . and now has an indoor world record race attempt on his radar.

Ky will have more pro experience than most pros when he turns pro this summer . . .

I think it's fair to say that Ky has a chance at being Australia's current top ranked 5km runner at the end of this year (possibly even record holder).

I like saying “the full mile” … full is like an emphasis. If feeling salty, one could even say the full f’ing mile.

What’s with the call for word economy? As if that were a fit for Letsrun!!

BTW: it is a pity to not see Nuguse against these guys. But at least with him running the mile, you can be pumped for another race beyond the stellar 2 mile.
As for the 2, many great storylines, but would love also to see it as a check up on Hocker, or as second choice, to have him in the mile vs. Nuguse, et al… I haven’t found the mile start list. 😐

Also funny since Nuguse beat Kerr the last time they raced a 1500.

Also, kind of a joke because Lieven literally is the best 3K indoors each and every season? Millrose having a decent 3K/2 mile (again the top few in Lieven typically would romp over Millrose's field) is a pretty new phenomenon. Lieven very possibly could have Girma, Katir and Barega among the entrants again targeting under 7:25 again, and not the 8:03 mark (7:28 equivalent I think). Meanwhile, the Wanamaker Mile is the premier event of Millrose and one that Kerr has never won for that matter. I understand Kerr's philosophy on training more strength in the winter, but unlike him Nuguse (like Jakob) intends to run at a high level in his event all season. I am good with Kerr running the 2 mile and then running the 3K at World Indoors. Anything less is pretty lame, and not backed by any sound rationale.

This is disappointing field. No top Kenyan,Ethiopian or Ugandan. Not enough firepower for WR. But it will still be competative and fun to watch.
