5:54 up the bridge isn't slow. Feel like the women have gone 6:15 or even slower there in years past. When the racing starts, & the CR goes down, they'll be thankful Taylor ran sub-2:20s effort up the bridge.

Needed a person of color. Way too many whities on the broadcast, and Disney corporate got involved.

Not sure the reasoning behind her bold start. She's obviously not a podium contender and it's certainly not going to help her run her best possible race. Looks like a chicken with her head cut off.

Coverage is typically horrible, they keep interrupting interviewing various people with a view of the actual race now and then

2:26 pace through 5k. Good, honest, start navigating the up/down. Really good miles from 3-13 to settle into a good rhythm. If they get it down to low-2:20s projected around halfway, someone will smash the CR with a faster finish.

The contrast between Gidey and Obiri is so interesting. Obiri looks like she’s expending a lot of energy with each stride. Gidey is just floating along.
