There's a fussiness about Tsegay's racing that baffles me. Great close from Hailu.

Hemida from Egypt.....wow.
Why do meet organisers keep entertaining ludicrous pacing requests from Tseguy? They went 60-63 first 2 laps (62-64 last 800).
If they went 63-62 it would set everyone up better - leaders through in 2:05 and could easily squeeze down and finish faster, while the rest of the field could string out and go through 2:06-2:08 and be perfectly set up for sub 4:00.
Instead we get the boring spectacle of Gudaf time trialing every race she does where the rest of the field isn't visible from 300m.
Would be better for Gudaf, better for other athletes, and make better viewing for fans.
Few Moroccans in this 1500
They're not fast but could have some influence on result
Ingabritsen 333 low
Nuguse 334 low
Garcia 334 high
MR from 2018 broken in the 200. Only the 47th sub 22 run since that MR was set.
More tattoos? 🤢

Shericka has 11 of those, SCR has zero.
1500m time. Haven’t been this excited for a race in a long time.
Jackson is on track, nicely paced ftw.
Good showing by Davis, got fatigued by 150. I could see that being jet lag. Good for her👍

Totally agree. While it's understandable that viewers may have personal preferences for certain race dynamics, the organizers must consider the interests of a wider range of stakeholders. They need to strike a balance between accommodating individual requests and ensuring a fair and competitive environment. Their primary goal is to organize an event that provides equal opportunities for all athletes and creates an engaging experience for the audience as a whole, rather than catering to specific preferences of certain individuals or spectators.
Let's go!

McGee pretty good finish for 4:03.09
Better from McGee, rounding into form in time for USAs.
Nuguse stans crying and throwing up rn 💀
Nuguse who?
Jakob gunna lite up the goose. Ollie will beat him too
Yep, schooled by Jakob
Easy-peasy.
Schooled? Hardly. A great opener.
Jakob made that look very easy, an absolute clinic even in a badly paced race.

Jakob gave them a chance with a slow mid race and still they couldn’t do anything. Very anti climactic. Yared, welcome to the BIG LEAGUES!!
