I can afford the $9.99, but does anyone know how many, if any times we have had to pay outright for this. Can you imagine if the Final Four, or playoff FB series did this..people would go beserk. LOL, we get screwed at every turn on this stuff.and now this LOL.

W Mile in about 45 min., yes? Hoping for some play by play as I'm not a Dwight Stones fan, too cheap, poor, principle of the thing, too lazy, whatever...to pay ESPN more than I already pay them. TIA for any in race commentary.

I went with 1) Tuohy, 2) McCabe, 3) Markezich 4) Roe for the 3000 taking the more fresh and better miler athletes

Roe has a slower PR than the rest of the field. Which is crazy considering she is last year's champ. Do you think she can go a lot faster or that this will be a kickers race for her to finish so high?

I am thinking it becomes a race more geared toward kickers (but I took those doubling in mile out). I amy be wrong but that is my logic.

BTW I only listed Roe as others wondered about her. For the contest only the first 3 matter of course.

Tuohy ftw. I think it could be close though depending on a few factors. If she has energy her best bet is to not let it get too close because there are some big kickers in this race who could run her down with 200m to go.
McCabe on the podium, other than that tough to say. There are so many runners who are evenly matched or who have different strengths depending on how the race unfolds.

I definitely agree on McCabe. I don't think that she'll beat Tuohy but she, along with the Alabama Kenyan women are going to be close.
I really don't have much faith in the TSR picks. I mentioned it previously with the men's 5000, Yeah, Jacobs is good but Bosley and Nico are in their element at altitude. I think that both beat Jacobs.

I am assuming Maatoug and Ramsden run the mile final - if somehow they are healthy but don't qualify watch out for them in 3000

I took Jacobs for the double in the prediction contest. Between the 13:11 at BU where he stuck with the leaders for quite a while and the 7:36 at Millrose, I suspect he’s closer to being a legit pro than the NAU guys and he has a strong finish.
