On a SIDENOTE: Anyone else notice that USATF posted that BOR won the men’s division today at the 15k national championships? I think they posted LAST year’s ARTICLE and RESULTS!
I was reading through it and I was like ”What the fu .. race did “I” watch earlier today? This has NOTHING to do with what “I” saw!!!
Serious question...Japan men constantly puts together deep national lists in the 10,000m, half-marathon, marathon and are crazy about the Ekiden. Why do they stink it up in most championships? The just got slaughtered at World XC, they don't have anyone even factor in the distance track events at WC or OC and they don't put a heckuva a lot together in the marathons either. It seems like everything they do on the track and roads is designed to be a time trial, but they aren't equipped to deal with factors in championships. Just an observation.
This is NOT what I saw this morning! Emily Sisson this MORNING was fairly close to beating Flanagan’s course and American Record in like 47:28?
No men beat her.
The weather was QUITE foggy and BOR did not win. I don’t remember the name of the men’s winner, but he was a former BYU runner, competing for Mammouth Track Club.
What in the world 15k USATF national championship did “I” see today? (Anyone know?)

Galen Rupp was in the race and took 7th I believe? (In the race I was watching this morning).
What's funny is about 25 minutes ago the Spanish broadcast was badmouthing the size and placement of the drinks table, which I thought was ridiculous. But it's still a logjam at each drink station and Levins missed his, so I guess they were right after all.
Lisa Weghtman of Australia in 17th place she is like 42 or 43 years old she ran 2:23.15 LAST WEEK, Amazing.
Where did she run that.
Victory Chepngeno hits 20k in 64:42 with 5 other women within 3 seconds = that's 2:16:30 pace. Betsy Saina was in 9th (67:10 - 2:21:42 pace) with Lindsey Flanagan in 10th, 5 seconds back (67:15).
You know whats really thrilling about this race? spending copious amounts of time watching some dude time trial on a wheel chair in a solo effort with no feedback to see him race.

Yeah evidently you watched last year’s race. A bunch of men beat Sisson’s time btw - maybe the start times were staggered.
