LMAO. a highschooler with a 17:07 xc pr and running 10:10? Undefeated all senior XC season except state where she places second? Second place in regionals as a sophomore?
Just admit you have a thing for Tuohy. You've had one for years.
I’m listening, but not convinced at all. If anything Tuohy looks too big to run this fast. Valby looks like a top runner. Yes even a normal top collegiate runner. There has to be much more than what you are putting forward to think doping is involved. If FSU has systematic doping why is the rest of the team so bad?
I agree. Sponsors can see that she is built like a pro runner while Tuohy is not.
Correct, Valby looks like a pro runner at college while Tuohy looks like a college runner at college.
Valby is built like a pro runner, who is not clean. Tuohy looks like a college runner in college, muscular but has fat on her arms and legs. Tuohy's progression has been natural. Valby's progression is not.
What someone said here is correct, other runners are suspicious too, none of Valby's competitors congratulated her after finishing 2nd in the 5000m. None. Only Gator athletes congratulated her on the track and on her post.
Valby's time on this course indicates sub 15 5k on a track. Quite a progression for a year with injuries.

Bullsht. On the video you can see Chelangat, Van Camp, and Gregory all congratulating her. And there were probably others while the camera was on Tuohy.

Valby's a Gator not a Nole. Astro appears to be a Tuohy lovin' tool
It is funny that the Tuohy fans are saying that. Watch the finish of Nuttycombe. I have never seen a finish line like that with Tuohy congratulating none of the competitors and none of them congratulating her.

I think most of the competitors needed to catch their breath...Tuohy and Chmiel were standing there but everyone else pretty much finished and bent over.
I just looked at the results, didn’t read through this entire thread. I saw Valby run at that NCAA 5000 championship, and she is really strong. However, if the course is really as fast as everyone says it is, my question isn’t how did Valby run so fast? It’s why did everyone else run so slow. 2nd place converts to a hair over 16:30 for 5k. Was it really hot & humid?
Can somebody please respond why all of the other runners were so slow, if the course really is flat and fast? Was it the heat?

Tuohy and Venters shook hands, what Is being said is just not true.

Well one explanation might be that there was just a big gap in how fast they are. For example, Engel who finished 2nd only has limited races so far, but in the Big 10 preview early in the season she was barely ahead of Windemuller of MI who finished 68th at Nuttycombe yesterday. Regardless, Valby won by a lot.
