I remember going to University of Portland with Pete and he was majoring in journalism. He was very charismatic and dated all my teammates from the cross country team. I always got the impression he was an opportunist that didn’t actually seek knowledge. As far as I know, he never took any courses in the physical sciences.

PJ was NOT coaching Brazier when he broke the American Record. yes that is what everyone with a Nike connection will tell you to try and distance Brazier from AlSal but it is simply not true. Salazar was coaching all the NOP before he was banned. PJ was simply a stopwatch holder. Since Salazar was banned Julian has been over his head. Yes he had limited success with 1 or 2 athletes but overall he has destroyed more careers than he has helped

Not true at all. AS had his favorites that he oversaw and coached personally. He gave the reins to PJ (who often consulted with AS) on others.
