Thank you for saying this. It's how I've felt since day one (as a non-Mexican Latino guy myself)...her excuse was racist and an insult to Mexicans. Of course we'll never see an apology from her about how she unfairly pinned her cheating on this food business and how the optics looked in her "Authentically Mexican" comment. I'm not one to pull the race card, but this time it certainly stinks like that.
Using performance enhancing drugs is sure to improve mental resilience because the body recovers much faster. I sure as hell hope Shelby isn't sponsored now and is doing this on her own time. Also, does anyone know if she gets tested while banned? If not, it seems like she has a free pass to dope for 3 years straight, clean up, and come back at a level clean athletes won't be able to achieve.

If this was your daughter, your opinion would count for less because of course you are going to side with her.

She had a classic doper progression. She kept improving every single year. Her face and hairline changed, as she kept "setting records".
She grifted the running community for money when she later admitted she made a six figure salary while she was running and wasn't working for a year.
She "bumped into teammates" while serving a ban, and still had money to travel to altitude with them, but she needed help from the running community to pay her legal team.
She spoke to a 16 year old kid, using his platform and taking advantage of his fanboy-ing instead of a grown adult, to share her story.
She keeps inserting herself into the running world, which is inappropriate given Worlds is so close and we should be talking about runners competing there.

Been said scores of times that she still is tested. Read the rules… simples.
Shelby went from being an athlete who got pinched doping but who otherwise could have been a decent, even wonderful person, into a Psycho liar approaching Amber Heard territory. Just come clean girl, liberate yourself with the truth. That's the basis for real growth and to be an even better person after this than before. It's never too late to start.

shelby has takes up space in articles and on podcasts that should be given to other athletes. That’s why she gets hate and backlash. Have we heard from Brianna McNeal recently? Have we heard from Christian Coleman? It’s sickening how many people believe Shelby’s garbage burrito story all because they like a white midwestern girl.

It appears that doping pays - if you don't get caught. If you get caught, it depends on the timing (after how many years of cashing in that happens).
