I'm old enough to remember the old lady crossing the street in the NYC Marathon impeding Carlos Lopes- he said when he cut his stride to avoid running into her he did something to his leg and had to drop out!
Why can’t the coverage have a split screen during commercials? I expect during major moves in the race we will miss it and instead be learning about L’Oréal hair products or some dumb TV sitcom premiere on some minor cable channel.
Sisay Lemma has gone to the front in the men's race at 4 miles and it's starting to string out just a bit. Albertson and Kibet still up front, can't see any other Americans in that pack of about 15 men
Peacock mosaic camera stream is great - don't have to listen to those inane commentators, commercials, and don't need to have solo wheelchair exhibits take up half the race (although they currently take up half the screen)
Is the stream blurry? Or is it just me?! I'm watching on TV!
Same here. Fortunately, they're making up for the poor broadcast quality by spicing things up with human interest stories, the wheelchair race and frequent commercials.

Women only 17:41 through 5k (2:29 pace) and that's for the most downhill portion of the course. The big guns Jepkosgei and Jepchirchir not interested in hammering just yet.
