Don't know where you get your information, but published estimates are much higher than what you are proposing.
Incidence of 10-30% of non-hospitalized cases; 50-70% of hospitalized cases; and 10-12% of vaccinated cases. I have a few friends that are suffering with long covid and it is no joke. There are also some people who have symptoms from many months that eventually resolve -- who knows what the long-term consequences might be.

I've had pulmonary issues since getting COVID in June 2022. Docs are saying I have asthma; after 50+ years of running with no symptoms, I'm saying it is long covid. Mileage is down, I feel like crap, I'm using an inhaler. Evidently no lung scarring, per CT, but lung function is clearly impaired.
