https://live.xpresstiming.com/meets/12512/events/399746/livekinda odd to run that time in that meet, maybe just to post a time, but they have 2 better meets in February coming up.
Why? Is it fast for her? Wayment was what 1512, 1515? Couldn't mercy run about the same?
15:17 PR. This was merely a qualifying walk in the park.
The reason no tuohy.... she's back on the Rocky 4 kick. She frequently mentioned that that movie was the biggest inspiration on her training. So no more luxury, she's living in a cabin in the woods, and will train there until national championships

Don't underestimate Quarzo's double, nor the two-sport athlete Riggins, and Parks more appropriately running the shorter distances.

I actually wasn't planning to think about it that much but if I did I would probably have underestimated it. So thanks for helping me from making that mistake. I decided instead to celebrate it and to throw a quartzo's double Festival in my hometown. We will celebrate this achievement every year for the rest of our lives.

Good for you. I am underwhelmed by your enthusiasm.

Could you explain what her double means to you and the significance of any of it? She's a good runner and all but I don't see her competing for a national championship oh, maybe she can help them out in Cross Country

I did not mean to underestimate anyone by not commenting on them. I did note Quarzo seemed to outperform Holt who was 6th runner at NCAA XC. Bush sure does look like she has a low 4:30s mile in her though.
Sintayehu Vissa (Ole Miss) runs a 4:32.70 at Vanderbilt.

Emily Mackay (Binghamton) ran 4:32.55 at Penn State, just a touch faster.
https://live.pttiming.com/?mid=4744Dan Schaffer of Binghamton won the men’s mile in 3:58, also a pretty good result.

Thanks - a year ago 5:05 but become #1 on her XC team and AA in XC this year(right behind Bush by coincidence)
https://xc.tfrrs.org/athletes/7367325.htmlCould you explain what [Quarzo's] double double means to you and the significance of any of it?
I gave this NC State admissions application essay question some thought. Here's my outlined answer:
Starting point: She is one of the lesser heralded of her class, but perhaps started her college career with the most room for improvement on a relative basis, or in context to where she began;
Track and Field: I'm old school, so I appreciate participating in more than one event during a meet;
Resilience: Two solid performances at longer distances within a somewhat narrow window;
Perseverance: She's out there competing. The first step to competing for a national championship is showing up.
It's pretty hard to pick a national champion. Getting to the finals is one thing, but after that, it's anybody's race on any given day. Yes, she's less likely than others to be an individual national champion at any distance, but she could be a contender in another year or so. However, it's always tough as new athletes come on the scene and unknowns break through.

Yep Bush will be one of the best Milers this year. Now that the talk is over and the action has begun……it is clear that Bush and Chmiel are NC State’s best Milers, and not the one everyone else is talking about who is injured.
You may have issues. You mean the one who ran 4:33 in high school and already PR'ed in the 1500 last year coming back from surgery?
Anyway been a fan of Chmiel for a long time and Bush is a serious talent.

Who has issues? You mean the one who ran that over 4 years ago, and has only run 4:39 since then in the full mile and that was over 3 years ago (this is also her PR in the indoor mile). She is not a miler dude! She is a 3K and 5k runner. She is not that runner anymore from 2018. Back then she had some of the best form I have ever seen, but her almost perfect form is long gone.
Ok. Meanwhile she just set the U20 US 3000 record and looked good all XC season. And I'd say her 1500s last season bode well for the mile..
Anyway you seem strangely resentful that she gets attention. Well too bad.
I think he said the 3000 is her event.
Dude your going through starliper withdrawal, its clouded your judgment... what's her status anyway?.... but tuohy was Killin it at 1500m last year.... my money would be on tuohy from 1k through 3k... chmiel might still have her at 5k but tuohy is getting there.... anyway tuohy is a 1500m runner... she was the best on the team besides hennes
