Can we all agree that wearing a mask for 10 seconds to walk to your table in a restaurant is peak safety farce

It's so ridiculous that it's hard to believe anyone takes this seriously

Everyone, including the hostess, can get a vaccine and reduce their risk to virtually zero. The hostess walks through the restaurant all night past tables and tables of unmasked people. The 10 seconds you or I put it on to walk in and out of the restaurant protect nobody. It is farce. It is performance. It is silly and you know it.

so you are willing to just go along with any COVID nonsense forever. masks do next to nothing except virtual signal public compliance with a corrupt govt seeking absolute dictatorial power over the people at any cost.

I'm not going to read through another thread on mask wearing so can those of you who are still in favor of masks please tell me if you believe we should be masking up forever? And if not, what's the magic bullet you are waiting for until you think masks can be ditched?

If they said we need to have masks until the end of 2022, and maybe a booster each year, that at least is a logical thought process. There's at least an endgame. I have no problems with annual boosters. I have friends in the Army who have to get vaxxed with other shots too so that's not an issue.
