You're the guy who says "don't criticize the NFL QB because he's a better QB than you as random fan." And "don't criticize Galen Rupp because he's faster than you." Must be real fun at a party. And apparently training theory is off limits unless you're already in the mix for the Olympic team. There's nothing wrong with giving advice to someone WHO ASKS about the best and simplest ways to break 40 minutes in the 10k. But this dude didn't ask. He was talking about what the Ingebrigtsens are up to and how it relates to training theory. And then experimenting with it himself. Then you hijacked the thread by repeatedly telling him to stop doing all that stuff. Dude, it wasn't the point. And it was never about you, you pompous POS. And I'll give you a little hint: there are a million and one ways to train lactate threshold and in general. For a guy like the OP who is interested in training theory and trying stuff out, nothing wrong with doing broken threshold work at various paces whatsoever. Is it more complicated than it could be for him personally? Of course. But why not, he likes it and it's interesting to some of us. So, again, STFU and take your 40 IQ over to some some other thread to pollute.

Konfuzi, how about you STFU. Take a look in the mirror and you will see a pompous windbag who hijacked a perfectly good thread. So someone isn't allowed to discuss training theory or experiment with different principles in their own training unless they're relatively fast? I'm plenty fast (but not world class) and I'm extremely interested in training theory and what the Ingebrigtsens are up to. Whether it's ultimately applicable to me isn't important in the discussion. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but I think we're allowed to discuss it without yahoos like you saying it's not relevant.
You anklebiting dipchits can do as you please. I stand by everything I said. 😇
