Dopers condemn doping while supporting dopers. A clean athlete would refer to their friendship while not commenting on the specifics of the case.
If I were a professional athlete competing in an obscure sport in which I get ten seconds of uninterrupted time on national television every four years, I simply wouldn’t use that time to call attention to the fact that I train with the person making headlines for taking PEDs.

Doesn't mean she's innocent at all, just means she could've done a good job of keeping it from her teammates. If she's popping nandrolone pills, it's not like it's hard to keep it a secret from her them.
