21 weeks down, 2 to go. Emotional roller coaster of a week. Thur last week I got a blister on my right big toe. I didn’t think anything of it until it started hurting more Saturday night. By Sunday afternoon the pain was nearly unbearable. I couldn’t walk without a heavy limp and wasn’t able to wear my work boots. My entire toe ended up getting infected from the blister.
I started taking antibiotics Sunday, but it took until Wednesday afternoon for them to really kick in and for the pain to finally go alway. My Monday and Tuesday runs were the most painful runs I’ve ever done. Tuesday afternoon I was starting to think this whole thing was coming to an end. By the end of the week my confidence is about as high as it’s been. Good week.
M: 21:22 min easy, 3 miles, 7:07 pace. Wasn’t sure if I’d be able to run one step. Extreme pain in toe.

2 mile warm up/1 mile cool down. Stayed on the treadmill the whole time. Just took 10ish sec to slow it down then another 10ish sec to speed it back up.

Can add about 10-20 sec of rest time for changing the belt speed. Had to grind a bit the last 600 of the 3k, but pretty comfortable besides that. Just tried to stay present and feel the pace. Feet, hips, and back felt great the whole way.
F: 50 min easy, 6.7 miles, 7:27 pace
S: 2:40 easy long run, 23.83 miles. 6:42 pace. Body handled the time on my feet really well. I think my second longest run ever time wise.
S: rest
Total: 66.05 miles
