I have no impetus to go into detail for the benefit of, get this, a classic anonymous message board blowhard.

Assume for the record that I know the nephew of a guy whose babysitter dates one of the uncles of someone involved in the production of the BBC feature. That puts me right in the center of the action.

For the longest time I have suspected Alberto to be dirty. Rupp is his science experiment, his diamond in the rough. With the evidence that was given to us by Malmo, and the others it is hard not to see that the group is in itself dirty. Centro may have had come back stabbing viciously at Nick Willis on Twitter because that is being defensive. Ok let us think for a while, Mo was never that fast to begin with, his prs before coming to Alberto for advice where average at best. Then all of a sudden he runs his 1500m pr of 3:28 when he is 30 years old? I say doping. As far as the Olympics go, I wish that the facts would come out and both of them be stripped of what they won. I believe that the clean runners deserve the medals instead of drugged up dope heads. Nike has been shady as heck for years even before I was born. We all know that Pre would be having a heart attack if he had seen the type of trash that is coming out of something he created, as well as Bill Bowerman. Money seems to be the only goal of Nike nowadays in whatever means possible. True sportsmanship, clean races is clearly dead on a large scale.

So, if I am following that, it sounds like you may be saying (in a rather round about way) that you know someone involved in the production of the BBC feature. That is, of course, if the uncle's babysitter is also his girlfriend (pretty common I would say).

When you think about what Pre brought to the track that inspired such enthusiasm, and compare that with what "Coach" Salazar is doing, it's enough to make you hurl.

Wow....even more BS than I had imagined. You couldn't have confirmed my beliefs any better than you just did: you know nothing of substance, know no one of importance (in this story), are a nobody yourself (as relates to the sport), but DO have an incredibly inflated opinion of the random thoughts that bounce into your head.

I was not "hectoring (you) so vigorously" because I thought you knew anything worth "spill(ing)". Quite the opposite (which was probably clear to most)- I thought you knew nothing, wanted you to prove me right (as you did), but was giving a chance to make me look stupid by proving me wrong (and showing that you actually are someone with "inside info").

Oh well, no biggie, anonymous internet blowhards who pretend they are "right in the center of the action" on big stories are a dime a .....dozen million. You have a lot of company, so don't feel bad.

For those who watched the "Gouchers" interview, what are your thoughts on Adam during it? I kept waiting for him to say more, but it seemed like only Kara talked and Adam was there for her support, like he wasn't directly a part of it. I think he only commented about the alleged testo for Galen as a 16 year old.

I just wondered, why? I remember seeing videos back in the day when it was really the Gouchers and Galen, as what seemed to be a really tight team. I can't imagine that if Galen was really beyond the gray area that they couldn't have been fully aware of it as opposed to just suspicious. Remember that when Galen hadn't even won an NCAA championship yet, it was Adam who was more internationally decorated and had a nice run under Salazar.

Kara's career certainly took off under him. It just seems to me that they either all were operating outside of the gray area or they all weren't. It doesn't seem too likely that only Galen was and the didn't for sure.

One of the (many) unpleasant points in this ugly saga is the idea that the finest athletes in the world all need asthma and thyroid and X,Y,Z other medications. Isn't this an elephant in the room all by itself???

I was part of a successful D-1 men's team (ex. top 10 XC nats). None of us became Olympians, but we were pretty damn good, ya know?

And precisely none of us were asthmatics, lethargic HYPOthyroid sufferers, etc, etc.

I don't believe I ever saw an inhaler puffed or a pill popped amongst the 50 or so athletes who came through the program during my 4 years. The only meds I am aware anyone took was iron for anemia.

I find it incredible that superior organisms--people with the genetics to break 13 for 5k, as opposed to struggling to break 14 like my teammates--are a bunch of sickly cases with chronic medical conditions that require sophisticated medical therapies to "bring them up to normal levels".

Adam was done before he started working with AlSauce. So many injuries and no sauce was going to help him overcome. I believe he never got back to a significant fitness level so it wasn't worth trying the drugs. Aka sauce used him and Kara for popularity but his real targets are the Rupps and Marys.
