So you are trying to say that these quotes from MLK pretty much line up with typical conservative values of today?
Please show me a prominent modern day elected Republican saying things like this:
“I am much more socialistic in my economic theory than capitalistic,” he wrote, adding that capitalism had “out-lived its usefulness” because it had “brought about a system that takes necessities from the masses to give luxuries to the classes.”- MLK
“The evils of capitalism are as real as the evils of militarism and evils of racism.”
“[W]e are saying that something is wrong … with capitalism…. There must be better distribution of wealth and maybe America must move toward a democratic socialism.”
“I am now convinced that the simplest approach will prove to be the most effective – the solution to poverty is to abolish it directly by a now widely discussed matter: the guaranteed income…"
“And one day we must ask the question, ‘Why are there forty million poor people in America? And when you begin to ask that question, you are raising questions about the economic system, about a broader distribution of wealth.’ When you ask that question, you begin to question the capitalistic economy. And I’m simply saying that more and more, we’ve got to begin to ask questions about the whole society…”
“Call it democracy, or call it democratic socialism, but there must be a better distribution of wealth within this country for all God’s children.”
“We must recognize that we can’t solve our problem now until there is a radical redistribution of economic and political power… this means a revolution of values and other things. We must see now that the evils of racism, economic exploitation and militarism are all tied together… you can’t really get rid of one without getting rid of the others… the whole structure of American life must be changed. America is a hypocritical nation and [we] must put [our] own house in order.”-
Sorry, but your entire argument of MLK is the same as a modern day conservative. Republicans: Same today, tomorrow and forever! ....just went home DEVASTATED.
I didn't say he was the "same". I said he was a Republican.
If you think MLK would be a big fan of drag shows for toddlers and 9 month abortions on demand you're kidding yourself.
Your notion that the world is black and white with nothing in between is completely childish.

You being incapable of figuring out why things are related is your own problem.
In targeting African American Studies for censorship, Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis and the board of education are deliberately distorting reality in a bid for power, writes scholar Leslie Kay Jones, whose work was included i...

Yeah, I doubt that the Christian and Muslim civil rights leaders would agree much with today's far-left, hedonistic Democrats on social issues.
What does that have to do with this thread and why did you search it out to bump?
Because he's a simpleton who can't tell the difference between police violence and Chicago gangs
All of the police in the country kill 1,000 people a year. The overwhelming majority of which are armed and in the process of committing violent crimes.
Chicago criminals alone kill 700+ every year including dozens of children.
Anyone who thinks these 2 are even remotely comparable is disgusting.
