times don't mean anything, courses differ too much...again rage, you fail to realize the difference in courses. Just like the Cortland women are going to beat Geneseo's this weekend right?
lehigh is the fastest course around. I wouldn't believe the hype from the times posted on that course, or even PSU.
paul short is not that fast of a course go there and actually run it and tell me what you think. secondly dont be so stupid, cortland was within 1 point of villinova at PSU obviously those are some legit performances. and last but not least how can you think the team who is going to win nationals this year cant sweep their shitty conference meet. give me a break, until heymann and williams break 25 minutes for 8k stop mentioning them in the same breath as cortlands top 5.
I highly doubt that C state will sweep. Like you said, this is a shitty conference meet- I highly doubt that Cortland is going to be 100% in this race. Cortland hasn't run their A team at States in the last 4 years or so, are they really going to change their minds for SUNYACs? Heymann and Williams will give them a run for their money. I would not be surprised to see at least one SUNY G guy in the top 5 either.
Cortland will have 5 in the top 10, but I doubt they'll sweep. My guess- if they run their A team, Cortland beats Geneseo 21 to 48.
only 1 SUNY G guy in the top 5? look, suny G is severely underestimated here, even without their main man Ryan 'The Mulchinator' Mulcahy, they look like a lock for manhandling a finger or two up the rear of the over-ranked Cortland state. Even if Jerry GoonLOL can keep his shoes on, there's no guarantee they can pull this one off. What are they going to do now that they dont have 28 year old Andy Cloke running for them anymore? A 10th year senior is hard to come by nowadays (although that seems to be Fredonia's plan, mark my words, jeff beck will be on the line November 1st). I hear tell that James/shamus/seamus nally will be out of the race due to a recent media scandal involving migrant workers he picked up in front of Home Depot and an attempt to pay for college tuition (I'll give you a hint, he got the idea after watching 'Risky Business') So, all that said, SUNY G BELIEVE!
as a suny G fan I will say no one cares about mulcahy first off. Second Cortland is hands down going to screw up Geneseo this weekend. 4 in front of genny's first (I'd pick a geneseo runner but I can't cause their number one changes so much). Now yes Geneseo is underrated as a team, but why not? They have failed to produce as a team on the men's side for years at nationals and are clearly a pack team. They lack consistency in their top guys this year and may not land a single all-american. Cortland will have at least 4 this year.
They are not overrated and coming from someone supporting a ryan mulcahy, I feel your opinion is just worthless.
Genny's first runner at sunyacs will be 6th place, granted they will put 7 in the top 20 (at least) it won't matter though because cortland will score 20 points, at most 24.

Wow, that was a serious scorching of mulcahey. Based on the fact that I am a recent SUNY G Alum and still close with the team, I think that they will put up a good fight this weekend and Chichester will prevent the sweep. Look out for the Hay master Brett Dolan as well. For SUNY G, I am mostly interested to see who will come out of that 5-14 pack and move onto regionals in 2 weeks. Not an easy choice for the woods man.

...yeah Heymann beat someone who ran 24:52 on an extremely fast course...that doesn't mean he can run 24:50 on a legit course...see you have to take into account different courses when you make these predictions on time wss...I'm surprised you didn't know better
( BTW I hope he does I like Heymann and I think he'll run very fast at regionals and nationals like the Plattsburgh runners always do)...however you'll be surprised to know that Greenlaw didn't even run at Paul Short silly billy...so idk why you'd mention that...finally if Cortland runs all their athletes the men will sweep...the women will be very close to Geneseo its to close to call...but if I had to I'm not backing down on my prediction that Cortland will beat SUNY G on the womens side
Everyone keeps calling people out for making mistakes, especially you rage. Yet you seem to make them all the time as well. Just so you know, Jerry Greenlaw DID race at Paul Short, but he did not finish.
Second, Lehigh's course is fast, but it is not flat and it is not short. Take trip down there sometime and you'll see that the course is far from being a golf course and does have some hills. I know this is way off topic for this weekend, but it always comes up.
Third, Cortland did race hard at NYSCTCs, but didn't run their top guys. This is because that meet was the weekend prior to Regionals. SUNYACs are 2 weeks before regionals and they will run hard (or at least hard enough to win), just like they have in the past.
Lastly,
1. Cortland will sweep this weekend.
2. Williams will be 6th
3. Heymann will be 7th
4. SUNY G is not underestimated, they just aren't as good as Cortland, so they will have their top 7 between places 8 and 20.
haha holy hypocrite...you admonish people for "calling people out" and then you call me out saying greenlaw did race at Paul Short...kinda a stretch with your semantics btw...if you must know he dropped out just prior to the 2 mile mark vomiting sausage and eggs from breakfast...would you call that a race?...I guess so...interesting philospohy
