Will be a good test to see how the River Falls young guys compare to the young Oles. Will their XC success transfer? If the do out their whole group under 15:00 in December we’ll expect big things nest year. They may surpass Whitewater and Olaf. I don’t think the top three are going anywhere. I also think Lawrence is a program that the Oles and Whitewater should be keeping an eye on. Their coach was a great runner and is really building something.

This link would be fantastic if I was looking for Pentathalon info with no seed information or participant names.
Nice on being patronizing while just fing stupid at the same time.

I'm an Ohio guy and I don't get involved in the North Region or MIAC thread except out of curiosity - but, River Falls is not putting their "whole group" under 15 for 5k and Olaf has absolutely does not need to worry about being "surpassed"
All meet info was previously posted.
An extra two minutes of searching would find this. I can guess which school you're from.

This is just funny, after all your sh!t talking it looks like 2 guys for Olaf seeded sub 15 with Will Kelley presumably pacing Turlington. Your overwhelming obsession with him is unhealthy. I was expecting a big field with lots of aggressive seeding, nope. 4 guys, two seeded under 15 and a couple alumni to pace them?
This is a pretty mid early indoor race to maybe give Turlington a fast time before break.

Chunko entering so many guys faster than the D1 entries at SDSU is laughable.
‘So many guys’ is that like the one guy or is 14:45 a d1 time now too?
It looks like in past years he over seeded early in the week and then pulled guys. Earlier in the week he had Deaver at 14:35 and the two others I've never heard of seeded under 15, but has clearly adjusted those two now - probably after reading the commentary here.
grow up
What do we expect Mo to run this weekend. Closest to his time gets an Ole XCTF trucker cap from Power's favorite coach.
Imma say 2:14.27.
I think that's a great guess and I hope he runs that fast or even faster. However, the marathon is a tough distance to get right and I'm not sure if Mo has much experience with it yet. I'd wager around 2:15:30, but I hope I'm wrong!
He told Power and his assistant at Regionals he's aiming for 2:16. I was standing behind them, because I was curious to see if he's as ill-behaved as everyone says. Seems like they had a pleasant conversation and he asked Mo to give one of his runners tips on how to balance his faith and running Ramadan.
As for the seeds at the U of M. I don't see anything that seems out of line. The 800 seeds seem ambitious, but most of those guys ran considerably faster Outdoors and it has been well-documented here that the Ole 800 guys switch the 800 training in the middle of XC. I think River Falls is just excited after a great XC season and put PR's for some events and hopeful 5K times. I'm curious why they appear to be the only North Region distance athletes racing. Is this wise? Will it pay off? Time will tell.
No doubt Mo is going for 2:15:59, anything else is just a bonus.

Do you run at Lawrence?
I'll add to my predictions for the weekend -
400 - Grant Nelson - 48.37
600 - Schneider - 1:24.31
Turlington - 14:37. Gael 15:11, the other two Oles and at least two River Falls guys run 15:35-15:40. Two River Falls guys seeded at 15:00 won't break 16:00.
800 - Nemecek - 1:54.4, Moore - 1:55.2, Fells, 1:56.4, River Falls guy 1:56.2, Myers, 1:55.1, McInturff and other rando Ole 1:59.8.
At MSU-Mankato - Molly Liston runs 17:25.00.
Heptathlon - Soren 4751
Ole 4 x 400 A - 3:29.4. Ole 4 x 400 B - 3:36.18
McConnell will run faster in one event than he will when he uses his Outdoor eligibility.

I don’t care about anything under a mile so…
Turlington: 14:25 lack of competition hurts and he’s about 36 seconds slower than Leblond over 8k, so ~22 second on 5k. Add another 10 seconds for lack of competition and giving him the 14:25.
Mo in the marathon, goal is obviously the qualifier, but honestly knowing Mo, that’s like the C goal. A goal is probably like 2:10, B goal like 2:12. Anyway, I think he goes out a little fast for the b goal so like 64:40 first half before ‘struggling’ in with a 68:17 second half for 2:12:57. I hope he keeps it under control the first half and is closer to 66/65 to just squeak under 2:11.
I’ll say Mo 2:14:35.
Turlington 14:32.31. Gunslinger Gundo at 15:10.51, Gael 15:16.00.
Doran - 4:27.8, Bjork 4:28.16, and Bullock 4:35.17. The other Oles 4:41. 17 men in a heat is a lot. Good luck fellas.
At Mankato, Liston will run 16:57.47.
Mo 2:15.12.
Turlington 8:25 at 3K and 14:44.44 at 5K. Nobody else under 15:00. Skemp drops out after a 9:00 3K.
800 - Munson 1:54.00, Nemecek 1:54.45, Moore 1:55.04, Myers opens in 52 and runs 1:59.
Mile - Bjork 4:25, Doran 4:26, Bullock 4:37
Nelson - 48.78
McConnell - stays home to shovel snow for elderly neighbors.

That McConnell seems like a good guy. Rock molds great young men.
Mo on 2:10:30 pace through 15k, Lars on 2:15:01 pace.
