"Decades of blood doping research" has never included top athletes who have blood doped. So tell me again what it proves? Meanwhile, so many athletes continue to dope - unimpressed by the "research" that has never consulted them. And can't. Canaday was right about you.
What does it prove? I know you are really slow on the uptake, so here we go again.
The popular and widespread suggestion of EPO performance improvements for elite performance is one, not based on information and knowledge and observation, but based on faith and hope and belief, whether the idea is held by ignorant fans, or athletes, coaches, agents, managers, husbands, doctors, pharmacists, anti-doping leaders, or even from the most experienced blood-doping researchers.
It seems like the strongest rebuttal to "we don't really know about EPO for elite performance" you can muster is that "we still don't know it doesn't work either, but a lot of athletes believe it".
So all the users are ignorant while the "experts" are those who have never consulted the users. Sage is so right about you. You are the least informed poster on these threads.

I can always rely these doping threads to descend to the poster Sage Canaday despises as an ignorant clod and a retinue of patients who have escaped from a mental institution.

You are desperately clinging on to Sage's vacuous post. Pitiful.

More insults from the man that tries to use these insults to cover his very low level of science.

You still have not bothered to begin to grasp the principles of science. You do not have to consult the elite to reach conclusions from research on a sub elite.Have you ever heard of experiments on animals.

Speaking there as the author of one vacuous post after another.

It's a wonder you haven't blacked out (browned out?) with your nose so far up your new best friend's butt.
Who do you mean now by "experts" in quotes? I'm only aware of one expert with extensive personal experience of creating elite performances for both East Africans and sea-level athletes on record regarding the speculated relation between EPO/blood-doping, and elite endurance running performance. I'm pretty much in agreement with that expert, who has plenty of information and knowledge and a lifetime of experience, unlike all of his detractors combined.
If you truly believe you more informed than I am, despite never sharing any information, I have another intellectual challenge for you. Are you able to list the top-5 most relevant pieces of information you have, that I do not? Maybe you can ask your new best friend to help you. I will eagerly await any new information you will give.
Otherwise, there seems to be a false perception that, if only I *knew* everything others knew, that I too would be persuaded by all the gossip and hearsay and speculation and novel theories. This is gullible and naive. Contrary to common misbelief, I do have a lot of information, which I have extensively shared, but often decide in its totality, it is either inconclusive, or supports other conclusions than the persuadables want to draw.

He has zero information let alone his top five.
He has been asked for what he relies on for years but just replies with vile insults.

Obviously you enjoy it. You keep coming back for more.
Rekrunner. Why do so many people take EPO if it doesn't work? Why are there so many busts if it doesn't work? Why do most of the busts involve Kenyans when they live at altitude and are elite, when it is stated that EPO is not effective on this group of runners (Rekrunner and the Professor might like to broach this one).

You've already asked me a few times. My answer to "why" is always "belief" and "hope".
I don't see the link between "busts" and "works". WADA does not require a substance to "work", or proven to "work" to be a banned substance (or method).
There are so many busts and so many Kenyan busts, because there are many tests on distance runners, with most of those tests on Kenyans, and because "belief" is widespread and deep and goes all the way to the top.
The way to measure "works" and "effective" is not by counting busts, but by comparing two performances, one with blood-doping, and one without, with all other things being equal.

If so many Kenyans dope without the confirmation of results and yet still risking a ban you are effectively saying they are the dumbest athletes on the planet. If only they heeded you and took the advice of a non elite who has never tried it.

You distort and invent by twisting things by you view that “ you are effectively saying..”
Have you not realised that many give advice on elite matters who have never been elite.
Are there any limits to your lack of understanding science.
