Lol, it's like some people have never heard of a post-Olympics slump. He might never be as good again as he was on Paris, but he'll be contending for medals for at least the next 5 years
2. Beat one of the best fields in recent memory. That's gotta be encouraging with worlds inching closer. And he did it off a fast pace with a measured last lap!
3. Surely this translates to an excellent 1500. You have to imagine that he could run into the 3:27s considering he walked down a a guy who ran 3:27.49 a few weeks ago.
4. Very curious where his 800 is right now. I've always felt like he had a lot of unfulfilled potential in that event - his 1:44.74 a few years ago was VERY impressive. I know its a stretch but something in the 1:42s this year would be awesome...

Amazing run, but it was missing arguably the two best milers of the last four years in Jakob and Kerr. But I agree, this announces Laros as a major contender. Closing that hard in a fast race puts him up there
Nuguse has hands down been a better miler than Kerr in the last four years
Good points. I had Laros at mid 53 on the final lap. Better pacing would have him in the 3:44s. Still, none of these times got near Jakob's indoor mile even with solid pacing. Was also expecting more from Whiteman but a good way to kick the season off.
Anyone with info on why Kerr skipped?
He's running London and thought he was running GST LA last week. Pre was never on his radar
