The sad fact is that fully 50% or more women have been harrassed, assaulted or abused- Emma calling out the deep seeded, misogynistic nature of this is literally dead on. Only in a deeply sick misogyny do men and women rise up to say oh but this is funny or no you’re overreacting. This treatment of women is so normalized that, look!, the people involved think it’s funny and half the people responding think it’s fine. Colleges and sponsors want nothing to do with people who are too oblivious or immature to know depicting treating women like this is not going to send the colleges or sponsors with big paydays or so full of themselves that they think colleges or sponsors will STILL sign them and their incredibly questionable character, behaviors, sense of humor and judgement because they are just that good. In 2023, living out the 1980 rich white frat boy life is not a smart move, but i guess that’s not as obvious as it seems? Emma was trying to help them out
