Had some left anterior hip pain early in the week so skipped my speed workout and reduced miles for the week. Sometimes you just have to dial back your training to try to stay healthy. Also focused on slowing down my easy and recovery run paces.

Comments:
GT: Strong week of training and congrats on the weekly mileage PR. Nice way to kick off your Boston training.
DietBacon: Congratulations on the 10K PR . Looking strong for London.
fnd: Welcome back to the thread.
Stone Cutter: Hope you feel better soon... you probably needed this week to recover so you can come back stronger in your training.
RRR: Looking forward to you getting back to running.
OR: Strong week of running. Hope that little niggle that you felt on Saturday is nothing serious.
Going faster: Glad to hear things are continuing to come along. It is smart of you to build back up gradually.
HHW: amazing set of workouts especially considering you have a gimpy Achilles.. good luck with the sub-3 and BQ at that marathon. Taper time. I am not doing Daniels (I am following a modified Hanson's) but I would do a speedwork session and a 10 mile tempo at MP during the week 2.5 weeks out from a goal marathon.
LancRunner: Not much you can do when you get sick and your kids get sick. Hang in there and you can get back to your training once everyone gets healthy again.
RunnerSam: Solid restart back into serious training.
JQ: Congratulations on great results for your back to back races and especially on the race win.
THOUGHTSLEADER: Solid 4 mile race. What is Project Fearless by the way?
Darkwave: Very strong set of workouts. I think that 2:55 is definitely a realistic goal for your marathon with your current fitness.
pewow: Congratulations on a solid 10K race and nice to see improvement in your tempo intervals workout.
Coyote: Congratulations again on the award. Good to see you getting back at it with your training.
Sub-6: Solid recovery week after a great half marathon race. I vote Fukuoka... running in a race in Japan would be awesome. And you get to run with only faster runners with the 2:35 qualifying time.
BHViking: Nice recovery week with that one solid tempo run at MP to spice things up.
Tyler: Really nice set of workouts and good luck in your half marathon race this weekend. Those are tough standards for the team racing but good luck to your team.
hoggy jobber: Nice base building week... when does serious marathon training start for you? I think I have the physical copy of that book but I need to find it and finish reading it.
AJ: Impressive 110 miles with some strong workouts. You are going to do something special at London.
NiceGuy: Nice set of 2Q workouts.
cocoon: Solid week of training with the high mileage and the workouts with a tough 10K race at the end of the week.
HHH: Very impressive 14K alternating pace tempo run! Nice parkrun tempo as well.
Still Improving: Nice long run.. looks like you have recovered nicely from the leg issues.
powsloke: Great race despite feeling pretty awful through the race. Just think of it as a tuneup/tempo workout run.
statfanatic: Great set of speed workouts and the 4:20/1:59 double at a meet was impressive.
mdubs: Thanks for answering my question. That was a tough track workout with the heavy winds but I am sure it will make you a stronger runner.
jewbacca: Staying healthy and preventing injuries from ballooning into something bigger is so important. Good to see you running miles and gradually ramping.
Guy Broman: Nice long run followed by some sweet buffet meals. Eat and run it off.
