Incidentally, Pearson at the finish has his shoulders scrunched up and arms too high just like Gwen Jorgensen. Is that a triathlete thing?

Is Pearson a regular part of the Tinman team group? Does he train with them? They really didn't need him to win, add up their top seven and they still crush everyone. I do like the idea of having matching team uniforms but the logos / brands really shouldn't matter.

While I agree with you sentiment, it IS the rule.
The rules need to be changed, as they are archaic and ridiculous.
I watched MollySeidel crush a field at UW-Parkside when she was in high school, but she was DQd for rolling the waistband of her shorts over. The rule was correctly applied. It's insane. Not only does it have nothing to do with the race, it cannot be fairly enforced. The girl in a pack of bodies in 37th doesn't get seen, but the kid 50m ahead of the field is easy to spot. It's like we're actively trying to get people to hate running even more.
No one would look at Pearson and the rest of the Tinman runners and say that their uniforms are basically identical which is what the rules states:
“The jersey or singlet worn by the members of a team (i.e., Club Northwest Men Open “A” team) shall be basically identical for each member in color and style.”
They are the same color but not the same style. No one watching the race would have thought Pearson and the others were on the same team based on their uniforms. Every other club respected the rules and wore the same uniform. It kind of just makes sense that a team would wear the same uniform. Every other team at every level tries to wear the same uniform but somehow Tinman Elite thinks they are above the rules and spirit of the sport.
Pearson has the approval dot and is a national champion. Congrats to him https://www.instagram.com/p/B6HU4SLnsrV/?igshid=15jgnamz0llff

My God. Now that the facts are out . The OP should be ashamed.
I always thought singlets should be the same but change the logo of the sponsor - like if you someone wanted to sponsor the yello letsrun singlet, you just change out the logo from Puma to adidas, to whatever.
They did exactly what I would have done if I was coaching a team full of guys with different sponsors.
OP acted like singlets would be hard to differentiate. They all look identical. Who in the hell even notices the shoe logo?
Not saying they should be DQ'ed, but how would anyone watching the race have any idea Pearson was part of Tinman Elite?

I don't think it really matters. The only reason why they weren't wearing the same kit is that some of them are sponsored and some aren't. They aren't doing it to try and get an edge. The guys are just trying to make a living.
I’ll remember that my next high school meet, and wear a singlet from the grocery store I work at. No big deal right?
Oh wait....if I even wear an undershirt when it is 15 degrees it needs to be the same brand as the uniform. Huh. Funny these rules!
Not true. No undergarment results in a DQ. What’s more is uniforms no longer need to match by NFHS rules, even on relays. The uniforms only need to be school issued.

No, it's a finish line tape thing. He doesnt run like that at all. If you've ever had to run through a tape, it's awkward. You instinctively lift your arms (sometimes over your head) so as not to get them all tangled up in the tape.

Unless you want to say that teams can’t split between shorts and tights, they all seem to be wearing the same uniform to me.
https://www.instagram.com/p/B6EYX27nvAr/?igshid=cotqr6omq5ptHahahahaha this huge thread and 1 person had a uniform only slightly different than the others. GET A LIFE PLEASE
Now that we’re over the jersey thing...did that guy really pin his bib to his half tights?
No, it's not enough that the sponsor logo restrictions apply to an event that has nothing to do with IAAF, IOC, USOC but the latest is that USATF required a hip bib in addition to a front bib at this race.

No in the men and women open race you had two bib numbers, one for the front of the jersey and one on your right hip.
Okay, I'll buy that. The picture above in the middle of the race has his arms much lower.
I’m not going to read through this thread. I don’t have the time.
What I do want to say is that even if you are correct it does NOT mean they were cheating!
Be a little more selective with your accusations.
Also, try to run faster if you want to win.

Everyone had to wear 2 bibs. One to the front of their singlet and one on the right hip.

The Tinman Elite athletes were not wearing the same uniforms. Morgan Pearson was wearing a 361 kit, Reed Fischer was wearing a Tracksmith kit. Other Tinman athletes were wearing Adidas.
This is a clear violation of USATF Club rules, they are not properly affiliated. Their team championship should be revoked and the prize money should be taken away.

Literally saw these dudes destroy the course and then make out with like every girl on the dance floor at the after party. Except for Reed. That dudes got a girlfriend. What a blast.

Will you come back and eat humble pie and admit you were wrong, or will you continue to be a coward?
My money is on the latter.
this conversation is ridiculous. People are looking for any reason to discredit the accomplishment of these guys. here is a link to the USATF technical instructions for Club XC
https://www.flipsnack.com/USATF/2019-club-xc-tech-instructions/full-view.htmlbut just in case you are as incapable at reading simple sentences, as you are at looking for actual race photos...they clearly state that "the jersey or singlet worn by the member of a team shall be basically identical for each member in color and style and be visible throughout the race..."
everyone except for Morgan Pearson wore the EXACT same white Adidas singlets (Reed was NOT wearing tracksmith), and this was only because Morgan is sponsored by 361 (nowhere does it say you have to have the same brand). Morgans 361 singlet was also white, which makes it basically identical...in color and style
End of conversation. Go Home and complain to mom, if you have more to say.
