The verdict actually makes me like Salazar better. He was trying to help his athletes in any way he could within the rules. I'll echo the first sentence in bold, and I'm still trying to process the second one. I'm not really sure what Salazar has been banned for? He basically did experiments that adults consented to that would determine how best to stay within the rules. Unless I'm missing something?

The trafficking charge is limited to the testosterone experiment Salazar and Brown conducted using Salazar's sons.

The anti-doping rules are completely arbitrary. Altitude training is technically doping, using caffeine is ok . While I agree that rules should be followed, the actual creation of those rules is not based in anything.

Yeah Pavey....who has been running unheard of times for a masters runner.. Nothing to see (if the focus is on someone else)
So did Alberto do wrong? None of his athletes tested positive and were convicted of doping. Innocent!

I think the Salazar hate is because a lot of athletes simply were never good enough to make it in NOP.... or if they did they flamed out.

Trying to make sure Galen “couldn’t be sabotaged” is a completely illogical defence. If Galen has some weird substance rubbed on him, how about he just documents it and report who ever did it?
Seriously it’s like saying to a border guard after being caught with cocaine that you weren’t actually trying to smuggle cocaine, you just wanted to know how much could pass by undetected in order to make sure no one could “sabotage” you.
