The fact that the majority of enlistees are 1.0 GPA high school dropouts then I'd say the bar is already pretty low. The WCAP guys raise the bar because these guys at least work hard.
That’s not at all accurate. The military is not allowed to accept more than 10 percent with a GED,

Hey man,. Have some respect for the office workers, rear-guard, and regular branch services personnel. Realize that it takes 12 Army, Coast Guard, Navy, Airforce, and National Guard guys to provide needed the support for each United States Marine on duty.
So good to see real US soldiers (from all branches) pushing back against a whiny anonymous message board poster.
There’s always a whiny cry baby in every basic training unit.
We all know the guy calling himself “Likety” is that guy. That guys who fails out and bitches about everyone else.
Shadrack's commitment to the Army is up, he's free to do what he wants.
I however am surprised the Army doesn't have some rule that prevents him from still being coached by Scott Simmons, but maybe because it's the government and Scott is a contractor they can't prevent it from happening.
But if Nike had sponsored him and he was coached by Jerry Schumacher (technically a contractor) and he switched to adidas, you can sure bet that Nike wouldn't let Schumacher coach him.
- You have "no problem" because you're neither competitive to make a national team nor take exception to a fellow servicemember not carrying the soldiers load. In essence, no skin in the game!
- The "traditional military" .... thought there was only one.
- Crazy Talk!

- C'mon WEJO! Shadrack was never in OUR Army: he ran for WCAP! Thus, Shadrack's always been free to do what he wants on US taxpayer dime. The only change that's taken place is that Nike foots-the-bill versus the US taxpayer.
- I hope he fails.
- Folks are way to soft on WCAP --- false guilt for not serving in the armed forces.
Shad was in the US Army, a regular military service, like regular First Responder organizations. I.E. there's 5 regular military services, AF, NV, NG, CG, AR plus thousands of First Responder organizations in the US with track teams, sports teams, which follow 99% of everyday, ordinary American lifestyle. Only the United States Marine Corps has extreme, Teutonic Knights style brutal man-to-man training, a totally non-American lifestyle, and doesn't have sports, accredited night school classes, fun civilian recreation.
Wrong! Shadrack was in WCAP ... not OUR Army --- you know, the one that defends our nation instead of runs for it!

You are an ANTI-SEMIITE and African hater.
Looks like you forgot we are a nation of immigrants. Kipchirchir is now an American citizen, hence is he is American.

The vast majority of individuals in our army are not defending our Nation. They just sit around running drills. Which is basically what Kipchirchir does, except in his case, the Army actually gets good publicity from it.

- He did not .... OUR Army scammed the MAVNI program & subsidized chain immigration that took Olympic/World Championship spots from real Americans: Those whose parents parents paid taxes!
Write to Cngress with your complaint. Certainly the Army WCAP is a reason of tension for you of which we certainly don’t give a damn.
P.S.
You are a classic D.ck sniffer.
Have a lovely and blessful day!

The Army isn’t a shoe company. Even if Jerry was a soldier it wouldn’t matter.
WCAP is a marketing and promotional tool for the Army.....not a Nike or Adidas trying to make a buck.

Jerry, Scott...whoever lol.
What in the phuck are you talking about?

- Thank you for exposing WCAP for what it really is .... a immigration loophole enabler that takes National team spots from REAL Amercians (by that I mean --- those whose parents paid taxes) at taxpayer expense. What the Department of Defense's MAVNI program was designed for was to fight idiots like Al-Shabaab that threatens our great nation as well a that of Kenya.
-FACT: ZERO MAVNI program soldiers in the WCAP have served in East Africa. In fact, the "big babies" were scared to even go to Uganda for World Cross. The formula is simple: Taxpayer Scholarship, Green Card, NCAA-experience, Army MAVNI, WCAP, Citizenship, & then represent the US.

And do you really believe they were recruited because they were the "best soldiers", not because they run very fast?
Every elite American runner is researching these days if they have some great-grandmother in a foreign country, because the Kenyans take their spots. Pappas goes to Greece, Torrence to Peru...
Looks like you forgot we are a nation of immigrants. Kipchirchir is now an American citizen, hence is he is American.
HE IMMIGRATED UNDER FALSE PRETENSES: to run versus being a REAL American citizen .... I hope he fails.
How many people step up to the call to serve America in uniform like Shadrack Kipchirchir? Not that Chicken Hawk Coward named Donald Trump.
American men regularly now run sub 13 5k and sun 27 10k but marathons stuck at 2:07. What gives?
