Only Kipyego has a similar mile/1500 PR on that list and she is a longer-distance type. Solid but not Alan Webb-like range.

Huge breakthrough for Dimoff, who has been a top local runner in Portland for years, but not this level.

Sincce I wasn't watching, was it clear they were racing mid-race? Perhaps they were just content to run 32:00 pace. Or is 31:55 all they had?

Dimoff has 2 kids and works full time. After she ran that 2:30, she said they had increased her mileage to 60-65 mpw. Pretty awesome.

She powered away with 150m to go (Dimoff was still leading at that point) so she had something left, however, not much. I kept hoping she would break away mid-race and really drop the hammer but it didn't happen. She actually looked kinda awkward on the track, strong but not smooth.

Callahan just DESTROYED the field. I feel like his PR has always been slower than what he’s capable of. I bet we’ll see him hit 3:35 this season. Also another damn good showing by Oregon there, anyone know where Maton is?

Men’s 10k was alright. Where where knight and Fischer? Impressive finish by Kiprop destroying Lomong in the last 100. 28:19.

This was Day's first race back for the lumberjacks since his 3rd place NCAA finish. He really ran out of gears at the end but it was a nice race for him. Also George Parsons redeeming the tinman method with a nice 12 second PR over 5000 and doing it the hard way with a ~2:01 last 800m.

Still, this was definitely Zach Long's day and his coming out party. A massive PR from his 13:54 at SEC's outdoors last year. He did not make indoor nationals. Very spicy.

He has raced a couple times since then just not in an NAU singlet. He raced at USA indoors I believe.

forgive me for not having time to really follow the sport but didn't GJ just have a kid??? as in just a few months back, maybe 4-6 months ago? If that's true, I'd say 31:55 is pretty damn nice, though obviously she should run closer to 31 flat with a few more months of training.

Allie Ostrander gets an almost three second PB to win the steeplechase in 9:38. The time puts her #8 on the collegiate all-time list.

No. This is the Stanford Invitational. He broke the record at the Payton Jordan, which is in early May.
