Dan waters FTW.
Dan waters FTW.
Waters won a indoor sec - that’s it! Been like 7 years. Hasn’t won a NCAA and won’t. Keep dreaming though.
Any rumors from Austin last week?
Edrick Floreal has the Texas Job if he wants it.... Doubt he will take it though. Has all he needs at UK to be NCAA Champs eventually.
How about Robyne Johnson at BU? She's done a great job there, she's a UT alum, and she checks several of the same boxes at TBB
We don't want someone who "checks boxes". We want to win CHAMPIONSHIPS! Go get the hottest coach available and give him what he needs to win!
I believe this will be Chris Del Conte's first hire as AD. He needs to step up and get it right!
No SEC coaches interested in the Texas job? They can afford any of them

Is it possible the new hire could be from a west coast school?
Robynne Johnson was also on one of the greatest High School teams ever in 1981 Berkeley High School.
They already have a very good coach though, Tonja Buford Bailey. no point in changing.
No need to look any further. Tonja Buford-Bailey will get the job done.
Why does anyone think she would "get the job done"?
She has been 100% responsible for the women's team and they are still underachieving.
Texas is selling themselves short if they settle for that level of performance.
Fake news!
Tonja has not been 100% over the women team. On other news: This season is not over with. The sprinters and hurdlers are dropping their times every time they "hit-the-track." I foresee the women winning Big XII and placing in top 5 @ the NCAA meet which is not too shabby after losing their head coach and athletes such as: Ashley Spencer, Chrisann Gordon, Courtney Okolo and Morolake Akinosun. Shania Collins transferred to Tennessee which hurt the sprints area as well.
Tonja is bringing in a stellar class for the 2018-2019 T&F season.

BINGO, and Alexis Duncan transferred to Tennessee as well.
Well, looks like we all know YeahRight!'s real identity now!!
Ha! What is my real identity? I'll put all the money in my bank account that you will NEVER get it right. ha ha
You're right @ Douglas Burke. Alexis Duncan transferred to Tennessee as well. And two other sprinters transferred to smaller schools.
On a side Note Texas will host the NCAA Track and Field Championships in 2019 and 2020, then Oregon (Who has it this year) gets it back in 2021 and 2022.
This is very good news. I had no idea. I thought the NCAA meet will never come back to Texas since the distance runners didn't do too well in the Texas heat back in 2005.
I love how when someone defends her then it’s obviously her doing it lol.
Newsflash Clark Kent: Tonja Bailey has a LOT of supporters around the country. She is as qualified if not the most qualified person for this job. Get your undies out of a bunch that she will become the 6th female head coach of a power 5 program. Heaven forbid that happen in the name of progress...
