Trolls beware, the US just indicted a bunch of Russians for trolling Americans on social media.

The funny thing is although you are joking, you're close. Guys like DiscoGary are not bots or Russian trolls, but they are an example of people who have been affected by the partisan fervor whipped up by the Russians. Him and a few other people spend all day here on the political threads going half mad debating all the classic triggering topics the Russians got everyone worked up about to further divide and enrage people, putting them more firmly in tribal camps than they would have been otherwise.

One of the indicted, Russian businessman Evgeny Prigozhin, said he was not really upset by the accusations.

"The Americans are very emotional people, they see what they want to see. I have great respect for them. I am not at all upset that I am on this list. If they want to see the devil, let them," Prigozhin told RIA Novosti.

Don't forget that most of these guys aren't some KGB dark arts geniuses, they're underpaid journalists from failing local news outlets with their careers going down the drain, the Internet Research Agency (St. Petersburg) being the only place that would still employ them.

As the reality of what has happened starts to set in on Democrats, that President Donald Trump will not be impeached or indicted and there was no collusion, it will be a bigger meltdown than Election Day.

It is pretty amazing that you don't care if another country influences our elections or not.

I find it rather interesting that so many laugh off the very effective interference of the Russians not only publishing stolen emails but using a well organized system of identification fraud, and mass misinformation to move out election results to their PREFERRED candidate.

Yet you are so concerned and distrustful of our intelligence and news networks.

Maybe Trump should rethink his use of treason, because You reflect a very naive and gullible outlook that makes us very vulnerable to outside control.

+1. We do care, it's just that there wasn't credible "influence" on the matter beyond the de minimis.

After 16 months of Mueller et al. desperately trying to come up with a narrative (funded by HRC hacks), I think the verdict is in: Only infinitesimal Russian whatever-word-you-want-to-use occurred.

OTOH, the 3-5 million illegal fraud voters are still out there, having influenced the election much more, but MSM remains hypnotized to thinking that it's only a few random cases (more than 13 though).
