None of the elite runners are congratulating Rupp on twitter (and only a few are congratulating Hasay)

Grow up, loser. Your family is way more important than patting on the back a bunch of strangers. Rupp actually seems like a good dad, but that's hard to tell from a couple minutes of interacting with children. He definitely shows more care for his children in public than a lot of other men.

That was my thought exactly. Hasay, the youngest one, looks the most mature here. The others look silly (in a way that wasn't their intent).

He said he was gonna take the kids to look at bones lol, he's genuine and appreciative clearly in his post race things, made sure to really give his wife a lot of credit many times

I see the Hasay fanatics are out in full force on Let's Run yet again. People think they're an authority on maturity levels when they're performing an in-depth analysis of a candid pizza pic. Ok. And was the "you're jealous" defense to anyone who is skeptical of certain performances another Lance Armstrong trick as I don't remember that as much as they were all looking for monetary gain. The jealously argument is just as pathetic. Goucher and Flanagan have Olympic and/or World Medals - they're not jealous and definitely are not unpopular. Yes Hasay has a faster marathon time but it's just too bad as anyone connected with the NOP/ Salazar will have that black cloud of suspicion. And yes it goes with Ethiopia and Kenya as well so it has just gotten to the point that there is hardly anyone to root for. After Armstrong it's kind of like a fool me once type deal,,,

She only ran 17 seconds faster, which in a marathon is frankly not very much. Shalane is still a way better runner than Hasay. She ran 14:58 as a 36 year old this summer and has 2 global medals (plus Kara also being silver medalist from 2007). I frankly don't really give a crap about Alexi though. Jordan is obviously a freak marathon talent, but one super fast time doesn't necessarily equate to global medals/American records.

Everyone saying "2:09 is slow" is missing the point. Nobody is claiming that that is really fast. The race went out in 66:11. Has anybody run a world class time off of that? Kipchoge could only manage a 2:08:44 off a similarly slow pace in Rio. Rupp had an impressive 63:09 second half while only running hard for the last 6 or so miles.

Anybody who follows track knows you can't always compare times.

Anyways, if I were him, I would mix it up in a paced London race and go for the AR and then head to NYC in the fall to go for the win.

Notice that Willis did not actually say anything. He just makes a vague tweet with suggestive hashtags. He is criticizing people for not speaking yet tries to be subtle here. Talk about having it both ways!He could be far more direct.

Willis has very little to do with Centro. The extent of their relationship is fluffed up and exaggerated by letsrun fanboys. They're not particularly close at all - more just acquaintances.
