After some big performances today, it's interesting that there are no elite runners who are congratulating Rupp on twitter, and so far I've only found a few that are congratulating Hasay (Deena Kastor, Paula Radcliffe, so some heavy hitters). I wonder if the whole NOP thing has just turned people off from cheering for anyone from that group? Magness made a seemingly cryptic comment about how "Jordan Hasay's marathon PR is faster than Shalane Flanagan's.........."

Wow. Literally there hasn't been a single elite runner congratulate Rupp..
because they are all jealous. Let's face it, Rupp is the ONLY men's world class marathoner that the US has right now. After Rupp's career is over, everyone will marvel at this generational talent and how long it will be until other is found (it's going to be a long while!)

I noticed that as well. Also on Instagram. Jordan's post wasn't liked by any elites but Robbie Andrews and he likes everything! No past teammates from Oregon or NOP. Very strange, Joanie and Paula are being paid to be at the pre race pics. I suppose it doesn't matter.
I'm surprised Alexi Pappas hasn't said anything - I thought she and Hasay were great friends when they were both at Oregon together? Though that was years ago so maybe they've fallen out of touch...
That's because they know NOP is dirty, and the NOP is frowned upon. I don't care about that, because doping has been a part of running since the early 1900s. So I don't give a crap. Athletes dope.

I'm not. Alexi Pappas has never cared about anyone other than herself.
I noticed in the past, Hasay would get congrats from many elite runners. Heck, after her Boston race, Kara Goucher tweeted that Hasay is the new fastest American marathon debut and also tweeted congrats to her third place:

She is a Olympian, Essayist, Filmmaker. Greek national record holder but SHE IS NOT a congragulator.
