kemboi did it blatantly? it was at the water jump in the beginning laps, when its going to be the most congested. rewatch the video, he gets jostled a little and steps on it as a result of the jostling, not because he was trying to pass anyone.
as for the doing anything to get it remark, look at last nght, same as rio which most everyone else saw as a farce, except thankfully the idiot didn't get have his protest upheld
Pierre Bosse should be disqualified in the mens 800m. At around the 650m point into the race, one can clearly see French athletes (Pole Vaulters) encouraging him on by shouting at him in the infield. This is against the IAAF charter of infield coaching/ encouragement for any individual athlete.

You're missing the point completely. He is NOT DOING ANYTHING. A protest doesn't mean sh*t if someone doesn't break the rules of competition. Kemboi did, Jager did not. Kemboi lost his medal because of HIS own mistake, not because some French dude took it away.
yet he still had one filed for him anyways, so please tell me again how after he had the protest filed on his behalf that he didn't try to do anything

Again, team staff initiate protests. An athlete can't sign the paperwork if they want to. (Though they can certainly inform the staff of infractions they have experienced in the field of play.)
If you see someone break a rule, you should tell your team staff. Although in this case, like many, it is so obvious that the staff will know anyway.

No argument on the rules, but another reasonable reading of this was that Farah, due to looking over his other shoulder, drifted into the other runner and initiated the contact. Watch it a few times.
That said, when a step over the line is the result of incidental contact, and there is no advantage other than preventing one's self from falling, there should be no foul, even if the offender is partially at fault for the contact, like I believe Mo was here.
I dislike Mekhissi for his violent behaviour, but it's not the athlete, it's the federation who's filing the protests. And so they should - you can argue about the judgements, but federations have a duty to have the rules upheld for their athletes.
Running very close to the kerb is the shortest route, but running too close to it, you risk stepping over. Unless you are pushed, that's your personal responsibility. It's the same with false starts, botched relay handoffs, lane violations, stepping over the mark in the long jump, etc.
